So, as is typical with AEK, we blow an early 1-0 lead and end up with a draw (today, the match
against PAS, the Cup Final, the match with BATE).
My stream today was poor quality, so I can't comment as much as I could have. But basically what
we saw throughout the match was that we had many chances, yet we only scored one of them.

PVC, the great football researcher, proves with numbers in his blog that Luis Fabiano is better
than Ronaldo. When it comes to the national team, the Fabuloso has a better goal average than the
Corinthians forward. More than that, he is already the 15th top scorer in the history of the
national team (true that Ronaldo is the second, just behind Pele).

The site Futebol Finance produced a list of the top 25 salaries of Brazilian footballers around

much in recent seasons. That shows us that even in football, the brand is what counts. What is also
scary about the list?

Every year the release of Serie A salaries is met with great anticipation and often little

At age 22, Zinedine Zidane was playing in the Intertoto Cup with Bordeaux. At that same age,
Éric Cantona had just got a move from Auxerre to Marseille. Rivaldo had just moved from
Corinthians to cross-town rivals Palmeiras in São Paulo.
With the money involved in today's game and globalized scouting networks, such players would
already have been with one of the European giants before they had the chance to establish
themselves in their local teams.

Anyone who watched World Cup 2002 will remember this inexcusable piece of play-acting from
Brazilian maestro Rivaldo.
Turkey defender Hakan Unsal was sent-off as a result of the incident, which makes Rivaldo's

Luis Felipe Scolari, who was managing Brazil at the time, offered this lame interpretation of the
incident:
"The ball hit him on the knee and then bounced upwards.

Do what Eduardo did against Celtic yesterday. From an object of near universal sympathy, he becomes
an object of near universal shame and derision. And with this, we need some way of compiling the
worst of the worst.

obvious, apparently, but I disagreed with every single one.

with a World Cup winning manager in charge they were certain to improve.
