The FAI (Ireland's ruling Soccer organization) has demanded a reply of their match in which they
lost to France yesterday. All of this comes over more bad calls/non-calls by officials and has
even been brought to light by a French player who was involved in the incident.Â
I want to make clear that I am writing with the question.

This is a picture of what's currently going down in the center of Paris. No, that is not a
Frenchman celebrating the lack of video replay in football. No, that is not an Irishman infuriated
by the lack of integrity by one Thierry Henry. Hell, it's not even the CEO of Caran d'Ache.

Literally, Nope, not drink induced, although that's how it feels. I have an inner ear infection

Ajax v Feyenoord, Holland
History
It all began as a clash of cultures. Feyenoord were supported by the dock workers from the built up
part of Rotterdam, while Ajax by the richer, more sophiscated side of Amsterdam.
Magic moments
This fixture is full of goals, goals, super goals as big Frank frank would say.

Thanks to our friends at Dirty Tackle for bringing this to our attenion.
Imagine you have two teams who quite literally hate each other to the core, two local rivals who
can't stand the sight of each other. Then you take an away team who takes the spoils and you add a
player who wishes to create mayhem.

Chelsea rattled in another four goals yesterday as we beat Bolton 4-0 at the Reebok stadium and
let's face it, it could of been so much more. After the display in midweek I predicted that the
game yesterday would be a much more difficult game and to Bolton's credit for 43 minutes of the
first half it was.

You'll probably see this everywhere, but here it is anyway.
A couple of Barnsley fans decided to waste everyone's time by running onto the pitch during
injury time and scoring a goal on Manchester United during Tuesday's Carling Cup fourth round
match. United keeper Ben Foster made the mistake of trying to strip the ball from the one fan,
which set up an admittedly pretty nice little 1-2 that resulted in his fellow pitch invader scoring
off the volley.

Remember when you would fall and hurt yourself when you were little (as opposed to when you were
insanely drunk this past weekend) and your mother would try and trick you into thinking your bruise
or scrape was instantly healed by "kissing it all better"? Well, I'm pretty sure that's what the
Fenerbahce physio does for Roberto Carlos (0:30 into the video above) after he took an Abdulkader
Keita punch to the head in the 74th minute of Fener's 3-1 win over Galatasaray on Sunday.

Arshavin and Fabregas were once again in imperious form for their club as The Gunners dismantled
Blackburn Rovers at The Emirates Stadium this afternoon. Arsenal ran riot in the second half
against a Blackburn side low in confidence and suffering inconsistent form in the league this
season. The home team once again produced some spells of incredibly stylish flowing football that
can only be associated with this Arsenal side - who have become widely recognised as the most easy
on the eye team in English football today.

I wanted to write this the other day when I actually read a piece that Harry 'check out my

He seems to have a massive opinion on Adebayor-gate and my advice to him is to keep his mouth shut.

Hello and welcome to episode 20 of the world famous ‘new look' Soccerlens Podcast. Join
ex-footballer Adrian Clarke and esteemed sports journalist Iain Spragg as they chew over all things
football.
What a week it's been! We've seen UEFA give the green light for players to dive, Emmanuel
Adebayor do his best to cause a riot, Chelsea supremo Peter Kenyon finally doing the honourable
thing, all 4 English clubs producing narrow Champions League victories and radical new Premier
League and UEFA rulebooks have been revealed.

The clubs in the Premier League have agreed to a new rule for next season that requires 8
players on the roster (out of 25) to be "home-grown". Â Basically, 8 players you recruited and
trained yourself.
Now, I know I was going off the other day about the "Everton Way", but this is an interesting
twist on the same idea.

Afternoon guys, I can actually type which makes quite a change today.
It has literally just been announced that Adebayor has been hit with two FA charges, one for his
stamp on van Persie, the other being his celebration.
He is fast heading for a six match ban, personally, I would add another couple of games onto the
ban for City's ridiculous defence of him.

I went to the game on Saturday and decided to post some thoughts on the game as a travelling
Gooner; there is only one place to start. Adebayor has now become the most hated figure amongst
Arsenal fans, even more so than Ashley Cole. When Adebayor turned towards the Arsenal fans before
his 90 yard gallop, he made himself enemy no.

It should have been a completely glorious day for Manu Adebayor. In Saturday's 4-2 win over Arsenal
that kept Man City perfect through four, the livewire strike danced on the ball, cleared his line
and buried a header to make it four straight games from go with a goal for the Citizens.Oh yeah,
and he ummm.

Saturday's Manchester City v. Arsenal match was exciting for many reasons: six goals, fast,
fluid play, a fun atmosphere, two players playing against their former team, fans throwing all
sorts of things at one certain player... All of this made for a great match. While I'll only
mention Adebayor's celebration just this once, we can all agree it provoked emotion from both
sides, which is ultimately why we watch football.

So here is the celebration that could well land Emmanuel in hot water. He claims he got caught
up in the emotion, but would that explain running 100 yards specifically with the intent of
inciting a potential riot. Watch the reaction of Man City boss Mark Hughes, he is not
impressed!

Arseblog 13 September @ 03:23 AM EST
It was inevitable that the headlines this morning would be about Emmanuel Adebayor. However,
while many of us thought it'd be because he scored a goal (ex-Arsenal players always score, dontcha
know?), I doubt many of us thought Adebayor would sink to the depths he did yesterday.
I think the referees assessor needs to look very closely at Mark Clattenburg's performance
yesterday because he allowed Adebayor to get away with an extremely nasty foul on Cesc in the first
ten minutes.

Emmanuel Adebayor answered his critics in spectacular fashion Saturday afternoon in one of his
best performances ever on any football pitch during Manchester City's incredible 4-2 win against
Arsenal.
Adebayor had a lot to prove to Arsenal supporters after he left on bad terms this summer.

Who said that Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard can't play together? After watching tonight's
International home tie against Croatia, it's plainly obvious that they can. Both players got two
goals apiece as England ran riot against a Croatia team lacking our own stars, The Modfather and
Charlie.
Lennon started the match and had an outstanding first half; getting fouled in the box which led to
Lampard scoring from the spot for his first and then sending in a peach of a cross onto the head of
Gerrard, which put England two up.

A Diaby blunder gave Arsenal their first defeat of the season after the champions came from a
goal down to win at Old Trafford.
Abou Diaby headed into his own net from a Ryan Giggs's free kick after Wayne Rooney levelled for
United from the spot. Arshavin had broken the deadlock in the first half with a magnificent
strike.

A lot of attention still on West Ham after the massive brawl before/during/after some Carling Cup
action against Millwall earlier in the week. Claims of racist chants certainly won't help.
The reaction, obviously, comes first from British authorities, who vow to never let it happen
again. If that's a reasonable promise.
