Up to 2,000 fans were left extremely disappointed last night as international R'n'B star Rihanna
failed to turn up at Talk nightclub in Southend.
The club said the Grammy Award Winner was due to play immediately after her near-sell out concert
at the O2. She appeared on stage at 8.30 and played until 10pm and was thought to be heading down
the A13 with her entourage for a 3-song set, worth - according to messageboards - £20,000.
Management at Talk nightclub in Southend have been left reeling after Kelly Rowland didn't turn up
for her planned gig on Friday night. It comes just a fortnight after thousands of clubbers were
left disappointed when Rihanna failed to show, at the Lucy Road venue, for a
reported £20,000 3-song set.
Just a heads up that tickets for a slew of non-league games are on sale now, including tickets for Red Bull New York & Chivas de Guadalajara in Arizona aka The Barnyard Cup. I know it's stretch but it'd be nice to see a few fans supporting the New York in this one so if you are an MLS fan in exile get your ass there because this circus is in town for one night only.
