If the FA is looking for another example of how not to tackle, this should fill the void.
Returning to Besiktas after missing two months with an injury, Ricardo Quaresma earned a straight
red for his scissor tackle from behind on Mersin's Mustafa Keceli. That got him a ban for
Saturday's Istanbul derby against Fenerbahce.
Ricardo Quaresma is sort of the quintessential flashy footballer. The type of gent whose game
translates better to YouTube and the video game of your choice rather than a pitch of appropriate
measure. Turns out his lifestyle is equally as flashy. He was the victim of an armed robbery this
morning, of things which were on his person.

The Serie A's Golden Bin nominations have been revealed and i am quite surprised to see who made
the list. Once again Juventus dominates the list with Felipe Melo ( who i thoroughly agree should
be on the list) and Milos Krasic making the cut.
Others who made the list include Luca Toni, Amauri, Diego Milito, Diego Forlan, Mauro Zarate,
Adrian Mutu, Santiago Silva of Fiorentina and Eduardo from Genoa.

final com um empate a duas bolas, o extremo formado no Sporting "lembrou-se" de tirar três
adversários do caminho e fazer o 2-3 final.

There are certain players who are perfectly suited to that flashy video game style, but not so
much to the application of those technical skills on the professional pitch. Ricardo Quaresma is
always the first name that comes to mind.
Then there are those who are effective footballers, but aren't so much your typical "video game"
type player.

It wasn't supposed to be like this for Beşiktaş.
After stealing the transfer headlines in Turkey last summer and this past winter, Beşiktaş
looked to have a team that would not only contend for the Turkish Super League title, but perhaps
win the title by a very comfortable margin. After the transfers of Hugo Almeida, Simao Sabrosa, and

In Turkey, teams have scrambled to strengthen their rosters in the four weeks of the winter
transfer window. Two loan moves have particularly piqued the interest of American soccer fans.
