Real Madrid Slip to a 2-1 Defeat at the Hands of Sevilla

goalpost.tv 05 October @ 11:09 AM EST
.Real Madrid felt the absence of Christiano Ronaldo, as they suffered a comprehensive 2-1 defeat at the hands of rivals Sevilla at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Sevilla lived up to the expectation of the players in Los Galácticos and completely outplayed the touring side. This loss not only took apart the 100 percent win record [. Viva Sevilla

Football Fanaticos 05 October @ 03:12 AM EST
Real Madrid had started the Spanish season with five consecutive victories before yesterday's match against Sevilla, just as the defending champions of FC Barcelona, and I think that most outside observers of Spanish football considered that the Spanish league will be a question of FC Barcelona versus Real Madrid, and all other teams are just to be observers. Oh… Madridistas!

Futbolita 05 October @ 01:34 AM EST

Well, it looks like Greaseano was badly missed in Madrid's first 2-1 defeat of the season to Sevilla. We like it that they're finally losing because Potter Perez needs to know that he cannot assemble a perfect squad with his moneda. Still, you know he's at the golf course with Jorge Valdano now, enjoying a club sandwich on a lovely summer day!

Sevilla shock Real Madrid

La Liga Report 04 October @ 07:32 PM EST

Funny thing happened on the way to the battle of the unbeaten between Barcelona and Real Madrid next month. Someone forgot to tell Sevilla who beat Real 2-1 win at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan tonight.

Without the services of the injured Cristiano Ronaldo, Real seemed to lose its attacking swagger that has carried it so far this season, and instead the attention was focused on Madrid's poor defence.

Champions League Review: La Liga Squads

La Liga Report 20 September @ 06:10 AM EST

Atletico Madrid-Apoel Nicosia

Atletico Madrid was able to grossly out shoot their opponent in this one with 10 shots on target to APOEL's 1. But in the end neither club could score and Atletico Madrdi remains a squad struggling to find the net. Next match will be against FC Porto who just lost to Chelsea, so both clubs need a win in that battle.

Ronaldo, Jorge Henrique and Morais celebrate against Cruzeiro

Celso Roth's Atlético Mineiro were restored to the leadership of the Brasileiro after a scoreless draw away at Vitória. The result ended the Bahia side's 100% record in the Barradão.

Palmeiras had gone top on Saturday after Diego Souza's volley secured the Palestra Itália outfit a 1×0 win over Santo André.

Adriano scores on debut

Pitaco do gringo's Brazilian football blog 31 May @ 07:39 PM EST

Adriano leads Flamengo to victory

Flamengo strolled past strugglers Atlético Paranaense thanks in part to a goal from their returning hero Adriano. The emperor was gifted a free header by a sloppy Atlético defence and Fla went on to win the game 2-1. See the highlights here

Internacional maintained their impressive start to the season with a 2-1 home win against new boys Avaí.

[VideoCast] - Brazilian players in S.League

BoLASEPaKO - a simple view on Singapore Soccer 23 May @ 02:04 AM EST
Got this video from my Brazilian friend, Mr Renato Andreão.
It's about the Brazilian players earning their living in the S.League, namely Peres De Oliveira of Home United, Ednardo Moura and Ithamar Rangel of Balestier Khalsa.
In Portuguese though, wish I can understand what they were talking about but thanks to the graphics more or less can guess what was all about. Click to continue reading...

Noh Alam Shah's interview with "Trivela"

BoLASEPaKO - a simple view on Singapore Soccer 10 April @ 06:19 PM EST
Once again I got an email from my Brazilian friend, Renato Andreão.
This time round, Renato conducted an interview with Tampines Rovers star striker Noh Alam Shah.
In this interview, "Ah Long" shares his thoughts with Renato on his ambitions for this season and gave his opinion what could have led the current trophy drought at Tampines, despite at a time boasted one of the potent striking line-up in the league. Click to continue reading...

Click to continue reading...

Click to continue reading...

Click to continue reading...

Click to continue reading...

Marcelo’s Brain Fart Kills Madrid, Aids Wikipedia.

The Offside 08 December @ 01:07 PM EST
Bad day for Marcelo and Real Madrid yesterday. Los blancos looked like a poor man's Castilla in the first half, going down 3-1 at home, before Bernd Schuster's fiery mustache and a Dutch-for-Dutch substitution got the game to 3-3. Arjen Robben tried to kick a ball and was sent off, which took a Madrid seemingly [. Click to continue reading...

Fatty Vasco de Gama Players Face Fines

The Offside 25 September @ 11:30 AM EST
Vasco de Gama are in trouble. The usually pretty successful club (they've won a Brazilian championship in every decade since the '70s, and the Copa Libertadores in 1998) are currently in the bottom four of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, so if the season ended right now they'd be relegated to Série B.
