There's is still much soccer to be played in the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, but the USA got off to a great start on searing Monday afternoon at the Hiroshima Big Arch Stadium, defeating Ghana 4-0 with three goals from forward Maya Hayes and an own goal that was earned when Morgan Brian smashed a header off the crossbar off a corner kick from Vanessa DiBernardo.

After the U.S. WNT's win over New Zealand on Friday in the Olympic quarterfinal, Saturday was of course another travel day.

After breakfast on Saturday morning, the players who didn't start or played limited minutes against New Zealand did a on-field workout in Newcastle, while the rest ran through their usual day-after-game regeneration and yoga.
