My buddy, Ed and I continued our almost weekly dissection of Liverpool's weekend performance after
a friendly game of indoor futsal. Now Ed is a guy with a rather thought provoking mind. While we
were both thrilled that "The Beast" Andy Carroll opened his Premier League account this season with

Several months ago, I was excited after hearing that Manchester United would be touring America
again. I had gone to last year's match in Philadelphia where the match was decided by one goal by
Manchester United youngster Gabriel Obertan. It was a memorable experience as it marked the first
time I ever saw Manchester United in person.
Manchester United wrapped up the Premier League title on Saturday thanks to a scrappy 1-1 draw away
at Blackburn. Surprisingly, it was a nervy performance by the then champions elect. United went
behind in the first-half when Emerton scored on 20 minutes. Rooney settled the nerves of the Red
Army with a well taken penalty in the 73rd minute and the game ended in a stalemate as both teams

Just like in 2009, Manchester United have won the title with a game to go, meaning there is the

On Monday we had an interview with Andy Mitten, yesterday it was with Pete Boyle and today we
have Pete Shaw who writes for Red News. A great account of the truth about blues.
Scott the Red: Where do you think our rivalry with City ranks amongst that with
Liverpool and Leeds?
Pete Shaw: Well, emotionally, it's the one for any home serving Red.
Manchester United will play a brand-new song as their pre-match anthem tomorrow before the game
against Manchester City at Old Trafford.
The new anthem entitled "United Road" is by The World Red Army Featuring Richie and was written
by Will Robinson & Daniel Ryan.
While I'm not a Manchester United supporter, I find the song pretty stirring.
