Hercules lived up to their name and are the rightful winners of this year's award for Best
Offense in the Second Division. The club scored 82 goals this season which was the most of any
club in the division. Hercules were the only club to reach the summit of 80 goals this season and
were in the lead both at home and on the road.

Before i begin my update i would like to offer my deepest sympathies to the family, friends and
team-mates of Espanyol club captain Daniel Jarque who died after he suffered a heart attack
following a training session yesterday. My thoughts are with them at this sad time.
