Arsenal's gifted young goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has made the latest in a long line of
footballing Twitter boo-boos. Indeed, it's not even his first offence.
On responding to a photo team-mate Aaron Ramsey has posted of himself at a golf event, the
Polish international Tweeted: "I don't wanna be rude mate but you look like a rapist on that
picture.

Luis Suarez will discover on Wednesday if he faces another FA rap after disciplinary chiefs

CJ Sapong interviewed shortly after finding out that he had won the MLS 2011 Rookie of the Year. CJ
gave a small performance of the first draft of his Rookie of the Year rap. He also wants the fans
to help him get Hope Solo to the awards dinner. My article on examiner Many of CJ Sapong's

Us gals get a bad enough rap when we can't go to the ladies' room without one another, so what's
with the hand holding between Chantelle (Emile Heskey's WAG) and Jessica (Stephen Ireland's
missus)?
Remember Afroman's "Because I Got High"? Much like Alanis Morrisette's "You Outta Know" it was one
of those rare late 90s/early 2000s pop songs that managed to sneak a blatant oral sex reference
onto America's most mom-approved radio stations. Subsequently, many of us experienced that awkward
moment where you are in a small confined space (i.

The women's national soccer team is back on the field this week, getting ready to play a
friendly against Canada. It's their first training session since the FIFA Women's World Cup and
they're excited to play at Livestrong Stadium, home of the MLS' Sporting Kansas City.
There are lots of soccer fans in KC and one super fan appears to be striker C.
You versed in the social media may have seen this already, but here we go. With the U.S. team
training at the Sporting Kansas City facilities, one player had the opportunity to meet one of his
favorite players.
When we were told that Sporting Kansas City forward C.J. Sapong (who went the same high school as

to put the World Cup behind her and of course the rap of hope from CJ... Watching the ball over the

With the US Women's National team in Kansas City this week for a friendly, some of the players
stopped by Sporting Kansas City's training to see how one of the top Eastern sides are doing. Well,
one of the Sporting players decided to entertain some of the ladies, including keeper Hope Solo.
Rookie CJ Sapong even had a little rap to sing to her.

Goalkeeper, Hope Solo, was treated to a poem/rap from Kansas City's C.J. Sapong.

In which Sporting KC's C.J Sapong serenades Hope Solo with a slightly unsettling/cringe-inducing
rap mid-way through the USWNT's training session at Kansas' training ground...
Yes, yes, I know. It's another Hope Solo post. My legal team would like me to point out
that I am in no way stalking her, and that the 'glint of a binocular lens' in the bushes outside
her house the other night was just the wind.
Because we can all use a good laugh sometimes, here is MLS Rookie of the Year favorite and
Sporting Kansas City striker C.J. Sapong serenading U.S. Women's World Cup star Hope Solo with a
poem/rap.
It has some cringe-worthy moments, but might be one of the funniest things you see today:
Hey y'all I think we may have a new heir to the MLS hip-hop throne. Hell, he may even be the new
king really because it's not like anyone has fully claimed it for themselves. Steve Zakuani and
Michael Lahoud & his boys at Chivas USA are trying to lay it down but neither have thrown down any

One of my favorite records of last year was Mark Ronson & the Business International's "Record
Collection." The title track features Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran) on the hook and a verse by U.K. MC
Wiley. Everytime I listen to that song I actually imagine Steve Zakuani doing Wiley's verse and
after hearing him rap I feel like I was a visionary.
For all the fans new and old of the USWNT, Liza Ellis and friends created this great rap/dance
video and posted it on womenssoccerunited.com. Bring on 2012!

Presenting: 'Jemay-Lee' by Royston Drenthe a little ditty about the part-time Dutch full-back's
little girl, which comes off sounding somewhere between 'Seven Days' by Craig David and the tinny
rap shite you have no choice but to overhear on buses these days.
This may end up being my summer rap anthem. You have to have a new one every summer, you see. If
not there is virtually no way to time-stamp the drunken, sweaty capers that make the season so
memorable. Except for photos on Facebook.
Although Chiddy Bang's recent mixtape wasn't all that and producer Xaphoon Jones' penchant for
utilizing sped-up indie songs for hooks might get him pigeonholed as a nuevo College Dropout-era
Kanye West, this track is just fun for fun's sake with a hook that's hard to hate.
Chiddy Bang have dropped a new, "swelly"-themed mixtape over at Illroots that may be the best thing
to come out of Philly since the Carlos Ruiz wondergoal goal from a few weeks back. If you like your
rap happy, clean-ish and peppered with liberal amounts of indie hooks I highly recommend copping
this now.
I try not to speak ill of the dead but I was never a huge fan of Biggie Smalls. Too much gun talk
and unnecessary N-bombs for my bourgeois, happy-rap tastes. Having said all that this remix is an
all-out champion. Minnesota killed it y'all (the track, not Biggie).

As illustrated footballers go, Marco Materazzi's near the top of the heap somewhere. The man
just loves his ink, and increasingly so, it seems, as he grows closer and closer (one would think)
to leaving the pitch behind. Lots of standard, if cliched, stuff.
But I bet you didn't expect him to display a few pairs of Air Force Ones in the colors of
Perugia and Inter.
Up to now we've tried to keep our references to Justin Bieber to a minimum. This has been
difficult, what with the pesky lad's insistence on dominating popular culture with his brand of
catchy rap pop and causing unnerving hormonal conflict in women over twenty-five.
Now though, the little tyke has finally infiltrated our perfumed airspace by appearing in public
wearing a Barcelona kit, during a kickabout with some local kids on a break from his world
tour.
This is the very reason YouTube, possibly the world, exists. Though if you can watch past the
one minute mark, that may signal a shriek for psychological help.
Apparently the United States national team made a video before their trek to Italia '90, in
which it's proclaimed "I never lose because I'm a champion".
Every single year, TV 2 in Norway unveils their Tippeligaen promo videos, typically the best
league promos you're likely to see. With the Tippeligaen season now one week fresh, the promos are

And they do not disappoint. One is even a music video. With Norwegian rap by the Riise brothers'
chunky cousin.
What is there to say about House of Pain other than "Jump Around" is kind of the scabies of 90's
pop-rap: you often get it in nightclubs, it's kind of annoying but scratching it kind of feels
good.

Wow, did yesterday's post ever open a vein. Response was enthusiastic, although there were some
notable dissent from my perspective on how to be a successful soccer writer on the web. The first
criticism was I didn't define "success" in soccer blogging. The second was that I offered no
"practical advice," and third, I seemed to be implying that making a living from writing isn't as
important as caring about what you write (I should also say I didn't mean to rap any knuckles over
the use of social media; I've been guilty of spamming this blog on twitter more than once).
