Liverpool still drew yesterday. Sadly, the answer is no.
Glen Johnson confirms what the women at Kickette probably already knew. Oh, he meant playing
style. Still, I'm inclined to say that between Benni McCarthy and Sam Allardyce, Rovers are

Manchester United have today confirmed that Ritche De Laet will be a United player until
at least 2012. The Belgian defender was offered a new contract that will keep him at Old
Trafford for the foreseeable future (not entirely sure in what capacity, but at least he'll be

highlights on my summer channel of Eurosport. For the uninitiated, with six stages remaining,
Alberto Contador of Spain is in the lead (Spain appear to be the champions of sport at the moment),
followed by Lance Armstrong in second and Bradley Wiggins of the UK in third.

A few quick random news items/thoughts to hold you over until The Champions League kicks off in a
few minutes:
- Fox Soccer Report gets a new look. (For those of you in North America).
- Martin Petrov is back with a vengeance. In my opinion, Petrov was the best crosser in the EPL
in 2007-2008.
