Okay, you can all relax now. Turns out that our hero, Arsenal captain Robin van Persie, will
NOT be sanctioned for allegedly throwing an elbow in the face of defender Carlos Cuéllar, after
all. Had the Football Association chosen to sanction him, and there certainly seemed to be
justification for doing so, the punishment to both Robin as an individual and Arsenal as a cohesive
whole would have been severe enough, considering the awful timing, to virtually end the team's
season on quite a sour note.

The 2011 MLS Cup Final at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California is only days away, and
with the Houston Texans on a NFL bye week, the Dynamo have been feeling the love in their home
city. On Wednesday evening a rally was held in Houston for the Dynamo before their departure to
California.
Serious questions were being asked of the U.S. men's national team's offense after six games in
the Jurgen Klinsmann era, but the Americans answered some of them in their final game of the
year.
The United States won its first game on European soil in three years with a 3-2 victory over

Sporting KC President, twitter tease and actual fan Robb Heineman spoke at the rally last night
also. This is what he had to say... Another one of my favorite moments in photo so far this year..,
Last night the Kansas City Cauldron hosted a playoff rally at Power and Light District. A bunch of
fans and most (maybe all) of the Sporting Kansas City players came out. One of the songs that was
sung was a new one called because we got Kei. He is a fan favorite in Kansas City. He loves the
fans and the fans love him him.
Remember Afroman's "Because I Got High"? Much like Alanis Morrisette's "You Outta Know" it was one
of those rare late 90s/early 2000s pop songs that managed to sneak a blatant oral sex reference
onto America's most mom-approved radio stations. Subsequently, many of us experienced that awkward
moment where you are in a small confined space (i.

Why do so many English football fans hate their national team?
What do you think of when you read the phrase ‘England fans'? An overweight man from Essex
wearing fake Burberry gear, snarling and looking like he's just returned from a BNP rally? Or
perhaps St George flags flapping from numerous vehicles as people claim an impending World Cup
victory.

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill -- The Chicago Fire knew they couldn't afford anything less than a win on Sunday
afternoon and started the match like a team intent on securing all three points.
The Fire did just that after jumping out to an early 3-0 lead and fending off a late New England
rally to post a 3-2 victory at Toyota Park on Sunday afternoon.
A pair of goals by Kailey Anders pushed Arkansas past Air Force, 2-1, Friday night at the Cadet
Soccer Stadium.
The loss drops the Falcons to 4-4-0 on the season, while the Razorbacks improved to 2-4-0.
Anders scored the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute, stopping a Falcon rally.

I was watching the NDP rally that ended moments ago and thought would like to add my
less-than-a-dime thought having saw a clip of the 1994 Malaysia Cup Final win over Pahang by the
Singapore team.
The Prime Minister was quoting someone who shared with that moment as a 17 year-old by saying that
"it was not about the victory then, but more for the fact it was a time when strangers come
together and stand unison before the team.

If you had asked me a little over a year ago to name the eight teams most likely to fill the top
eight places in the Premier League come May I would have said; Liverpool, Everton, Man Utd, Man
City, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea. Not in that order, obviously.
Then our manager skipped off into the sunset and the season that followed will last in the
memory for many years.
The win expectancy chart doesn't look pretty. A two goal rally is rare and difficult, more so on
the road. Particularly when the weather and the referee shift it to a slow, physical game. That
isn't the only chart like device that makes things worrisome. Look at how few times Seattle was
inside the 18 with trackable actions (passes, shots, possession) by key offensive players.

Quick Recap:
Portland survives the first half and for the first time in a while do not allow a goal or an
early goal. The second half brought the fireworks as all the goals were scored in this half.
First Half:
Portland tried a new line-up moving Jorge Perlaza up as a lone striker inserting a more
defensive minded James Mareclin as a central mid.
TORONTO - Vancouver made it interesting, but Mikael Yourassowsky's goal in the 61st minute
completed Toronto FC's rally in a 2-1 victory over the Whitecaps at BMO Field on Saturday that gave
the Reds their third straight Nutrilite Canadian Championship title.
With the victory in the replayed second leg, the Reds won the aggregate-goals series 3-2 and

The Cauldron has arranged a Meet The New Players Night/2011 Send-Off Rally for Monday Night, March
14th. As I write this, they are on the phone arranging for more players to attend. So head down to
Johnny's Tavern in Power and Light. Officially it starts at 6PM but show up when you can and say hi
to some Sporting Kansas City players.
So I'm sat in the Las Vegas airport awaiting my delayed flight home. The AO Rally was cool and if
you want to hear about that go check out the day job. Met some cool people and hope to hook up with
a few of them at the U.S.-Argentina match later in the month.
Now I hate to be so brief but I'm off to the Chili's-to-Go in Terminal D before I board because
after 2 nights of gambling, drink, bad food and good times it's closing time.
In case you didn't know I'm currently "on assignment" covering the the American Outlaws rally in
America's premier hot mess, Las Vegas. With Night 1 in the books I can honestly say that when it
comes to people-watching there is no place on the planet that offers more "amazing" than Las Vegas.
