1. Manchester City will benefit from this experience
Regardless of the wealth spent on this team, this is City's first outing in the Champions
League. Only a handful of players in the squad have participated before in Europe's elite
competition.
My apologies for the late post, but I've been dealing with internet outages as well as having to
cut a massive amount of tree branches around my property. But nevermind all that, we're down but
still not out of this one. As the great You Suck Corrales said, it's half-time and the Red Bulls
are only down 1-0 - after a hard fought defeat at the hands of the visiting LA Galaxy this past
Sunday.
Fábio on...
Rafael: "At home he only wants to mess around... he's like a 10-year-old!"
Vidic: "He's a raging bull! His behaviour changes... sometimes he's smiling, other times he's
anxious and wants to hit you!"
Chicharito: "Everyone likes him... you know Mexicans, they're always happy!
One was last years Italian league golden boot winner, the other is a word-wide known
Hollywood actor...and it just so happens that they look a like.
2010 was a fantastic year for Diego Milito. He was Inter Milan's top scorer and was lucky enough
to win the treble scoring two goals in the Champions League final in a man of the match peformance-
with Jose Mourinho at the helm.
If I could read the minds of players, this could (or should) be some of their new year's
resolutions:
Ando: I resolve to keep playing like a raging bull in the middle of the field and stay after
practice to work on my shooting and finishing in the box.
Berba: I resolve to stay positive even when if I get dropped to the bench after scoring a
million goals in one game.
