After a five week break I am back at GKP for what on paper should be a cracking tie in the FA Vase. Both teams currently sit in the top six in the East Midlands Counties League (EMCL), and they played each other at the end of August with Oadby running out 3-1 winners.

Yet another busy weekend in the Virginia college soccer world as October came to a close. Take a look at some highlights, score, and updates from the past weekend:

John Motson is celebrating 40 years at the BBC. The veteran broadcaster has been the voice of all the big football moments since he shot to fame in the early 1970s thanks to Ronnie Radford's winner for Hereford against Newcastle.

This is a part2 and last of these two posts where I am sharing some of the great old goals, mostly not that famous, or over consumed by media or clips. Don't expect to watch a typical Maradona or Pele goal, but something really rare that you might never seen. Non WC goals are here. All goals are historical, meaning they are at least 20 years old (1991 season or before).

After my original plan of Barnsley v Feynenoord fell by the wayside about ten days ago it was a case a looking for alternative arrangements for today. The Football Association has this morning revealed that a remarkable new concept known as "Ronnie Radford Time" will be trialled during next season's FA Cup campaign. The FA have become increasingly concerned with plummeting attendances in their premier cup competition and have hastily drawn up proposals that could see the game of football significantly changed from round three onwards.

LEXINGTON, Va. - The VMI women's soccer program has announced its spring schedule, according to information released by the program Monday.
After a difficult 2010, the Keydets will open up their spring March 27 at VCU, taking on the Rams at 2 p.m. in Richmond.
