5,065 turned up in prime game time last Saturday night. Around 2,000 seemed to be supporting
Melbourne. My guess is that most of the others are former Queensland Roar fans that used to travel
to Suncorp.
Any ideas as to why the leading team has no fans?

Since leaving the Roar in November 2006, Miron Bleiberg has acted like a man with something
fundamental to prove. He is hit hard by the way he felt he was treated by the 'Owners' of the
Queensland Roar. Since he has sought vindication and to prove them wrong and him right.
So what were 'they', the Owners, so wrong about?

Adelaide put some demons to rest on Saturday night as it beat Queensland Roar 1-0. Disappointing
for Queensland fans, and a surprising finish for many who wrote off Adelaide after the hiding in
Melbourne and Aurelio Vidmar's rant. Adelaide now get a chance for redemption. I thought I'd take
the occasion to compile a bunch of [.

I have to admit, I'm bloody surprised that Adelaide were able to pull this result out of their
arses, especially after the week they just had... and especially cause Fabian Barbiero drilled home
the winner. Queensland Roar were clearly the better team on the night dominating play, possession
and oportunities but failed miserbly every time to convert.

Adelaide United will want to put the last fortnight behind them, most notably the 6-0 aggregate
romping they were given by Melbourne and especially the much publicised and scrutinised outbursts
by their coach Aurelio Vidmar.
Queensland Roar on the other hand are quietly sitting back like a vindictive teenage girl planning
on how to make her cheating ex-boyfriends year even more humiliating than it has been and stomping
on his nuts while he's down and out too.
