Ricardo Quaresma Unplugged Intro

7
Nerazzurri Fans may well ask who is this Portuguese wonder boy? What will he add to our club?  What is his style? and will he fill the boots of Luis Figo to become the next midfield magician for Inter?  Comparison to Cristiano Ronaldo is little surprise as Quaresma is yet one more from that current crop of outstanding Portuguese playmakers. Liverpool and Everton signings - analysis

9
I don't really know too much about either player that Liverpool and Everton signed on the transfer deadline day, but I'll give my comments based upon what I've read.

Liverpool seemed to get the player they wanted in Albert Riera, a left winger who should provide a lot of ammunition for Fernando Torres, Robbie Keane, and the rest of Liverpool's goal scorers. Click to continue reading...

Ricardo Quaresma to Inter - analysis

5
Well Jose Mourinho finally got his man with the signing of Ricardo Quaresma from Porto. This is a great move for Inter Milan as they needed some younger players to add to their aging squad, and it also give Mourinho a chance to put his own stamp on the squad. I was beginning to wonder when Inter were going to make a really big move. Click to continue reading...

A Bola: Suazo per Quaresma

1
Secondo il quotidiano portoghese A Bola, l'Inter avrebbe offerto
l'attaccante David Suazo (28) nell'ambito dell'operazione Quaresma (25). L'honduregno non rientra più nei piani dell'Inter ed il Porto accoglierebbe il giocatore a braccia aperte. In tal caso, i nerazzurri verserebbero ai Dragoes anche una contropartita di qualche milione di euro. Click to continue reading...

Whats a Mourinho to do?

5
Whats a Mourinho to do when Massimo Moratti won't spend any money like you want him to do? According to this article on Fox Sports, Inter Milan are not going any further into the transfer market and won't be bringing in players like Frank Lampard and Ricardo Quaresma that Jose Mourinho had targeted. I guess Roman Abramovich isn't looking so bad right now. Click to continue reading...

Portugal defeat Turkey 2-0

1
So Portugal defeated Turkey a couple of days ago in the second match of the Euro 08 competition. It was a well-balanced game even though Portugal held most of the possession. Italy defeated Portugal 3-1 last night in Zurich and although it was a friendly, they proved that they mean business for this coming Euro as they chase the double which only France has managed so far in 1998 and 2000. Today's Banter: Quaresma wants weeping, Ferreira just wants focus, Lucho laidback, but Kuyt confident

1
Ricardo Quaresma has volunteered to be the Matías Delgado of today's match. Remember Delgado the Beşiktaş midfielder who proclaimed prior to the 8-0 thrashing his club suffered at the hands of our boys that 'This Liverpool side is vulnerable and not the super team of previous seasons'? Yeah, wasn't so smart, well, Ricardo Quaresma has one-upped the Argentine by declaring that he wants to make us fans cry. Click to continue reading...

Real Madrid and Lazio battled their way to equal points and a 2-2 draw. A brace from Van Nistelrooy took the prolific striker to 56 champions league goals but Pandev had a brace of his own for Madrid. Today's Banter: Allardyce calls Rafa 'lucky', Love for Arbeloa & Pennant, Porto smack talk begins, & more

3
- Sam Allardyce, who's Newcastle side lost to Derby 0-1 yesterday, the same Derby County we dismantled 6-0 a few weeks back, has stated that Rafa is 'very lucky' to still be employed with LFC and the only reason he is so, is because of our Champions League showings. Other than the obvious that Big Sam needs to worry about his own job and his own side, the Magpies manager appears to be showing signs of amnesia. Click to continue reading...

Quaresma

2
I still find it hard to believe that Ricardo Quaresma isn't playing for one of the big clubs in Europe (not to say Porto isn't a good club but it isn't thought of as a Madrid or Liverpool or Milan, etc.). I guess he did have a good chance to really take the world by storm when he was younger and Barcelona purchased him but he never really made an impact there. Click to continue reading...
