Carlos Tevez has once again refused to enter a match after starting on the substitute's bench,
this time during Martin Palermo's testimonial in Buenos Aires. Tevez, who has been frozen out at
Manchester City since pulling a similar protest during a Champions League match against Bayern
Munich in September sparked outrage from both teams taking part in the tribute to Palermo, a friend
and former international teammate.
From what I've read from Mirrorfootball's 'exclusive' is that an Arsenal fan group are planning to
put bin-liners on all empty seats in the ground, in the next home match vs Blackburn, to highlight
dwindling attendances... One problem with that chaps Arsenal play to a full house practically every
game.
Verwundert schauen die Spieler beim Premier League Spiel zwischen dem FC Everton und Manchester
City!
Unfair on Arshavin, Unfair on Arsenal FC (By S.H) The home stadium erupted in loud BOOS in protest
over Wenger‘s decision to substitute Oxlade-Chamberlain for Andrey Arshavin. Even Robin van
Persie appeared to show his dissent over the manager's decision. The Ox had played a marvellous
game, and I too, was disappointed to see him [.

It's a puzzling time at Forest, that's for sure. In fact, the only certain thing about the club at
the moment is that nothing much is known for certain. So many questions remain unanswerable: Was
the performance at Ipswich an improvement for the goals we scored or a step back due to the
shambolic way we defended?
For those who always find themselves wondering what happens after the credits roll, a three-pronged

albeit in protest.

What on earth were Liverpool Football Club thinking when they traipsed out in those pathetic

AZ Alkmaar keeper Esteban Alvarado was sent off after a drunk fan attempted to assault the Costa
Rican, however the thug wasn't expecting his victim to turn attacker which he was entitled to do in
my opinion.
Alvarado was subsequently sent off by referee Bas Nijhuis which led to AZ Alkmaar's manager to
order his player's off the pitch in protest as the KNVB cup tie was abandoned.

Here's a little firecracker to start the morning off. Last night's last-16 tie in the KNVB Cup
between Ajax and AZ Alkmaar had to be abandoned after just 38 minutes (with Ajax leading 1-0) after
an incident involving a pitch invader caused the away side to leave the field in protest.
CPC: Click, Protest, Complain Premier League strugglers Blackburn Rovers have obviously decided
there's not enough people on Steve Kean's back on Ewood Park matchdays at present. Rovers have
launched a Google Adwords advertising campaign offering cut-price tickets for the forthcoming
matches against Swansea, West Brom and Bolton.

Blackburn Rovers 4-2 Swansea City Premier League 3rd December 2011
At Ewood Park on Saturday, Blackburn fed the Yak 'til he almost burst, but he indeed score a
goal, four to be exact. The 29-year-old (that's what he claims anyway, but I've a sneaking
suspicion that 'Nigerian years' are closer to 'dog years' than anything else) has rediscovered his
best goal-poaching form again, leading Rovers to a much needed three points against Swansea.

Of all the photos they could've chosen, Real Madrid decided to run with this one to accompany
the match report of their 3-2 win over Valencia at the weekend on the club's official

According to the Beeb, this 'ere jilted Newcastle fan has dug up and removed a commemorative
brick from outside what used to be St James' Park in protest over Mike Ashley's decision to award
the stadium's naming rights to himself last week and rebrand the ground as the 'Sports Direct
Arena'.
I'm sure most of you will be aware of the wonderful books about Fulham produced by Ken Coton &
Martin Plumb through the Ashwater Press imprint. They've had some issues of late trying to engage
with the club and this has put them in a difficult position regarding the production of future
books. This would be a crying shame as Ken and Martin have produced most of the very best books
about Fulham, and certainly filled the void that exisited from the official side for many
years.
Blackburn fans' stepped up their protest against manager Steve Kean by organising for a plane
carrying a 'Steve Kean Out' banner to fly past during their match against Chelsea. Rovers
supporters took to the skies to overcome a ban preventing them from bringing banners protesting
against Kean to this afternoon's match.
And they're back! : Two activists from women's rights organisation
Femen in Ukraine staged a protest in front of the Arena Lviv stadium before its opening ceremony in
Lviv over the weekend. As you may recall, they started a campaign to protest against sex tourism,
prostitution, and alcohol sales at sports stadiums at next year's Euro 2012 (read this post).

There is an old song that goes along the lines of "Nottingham, is full of fun. Oh Nottingham is
full of fun! It's full of tits, fanny and Forest, Nottingham is full of fun." But it's not that fun
being a Nottingham Forest fan at the moment [...]
I, like many other Forest fans, hope the telephone is ringing in the manager's office now informing

AFC Bournemouth supporters staged an impromptu 'protest' after the final whistle of their 3-0
home defeat to Chesterfield on Saturday, which basically involved a mass haranguing of owner Eddie
Mitchell for his decision to flog off seven of the players that saw the Cherries reach the League
One play-offs last season after being promoted from League Two the season prior.
Another week, another blatant act of deliberate, cynical cheating. This time the unapologetic
offender was the Czech Republic's Jan Rezek, who robbed Scotland of a Euro 2012 qualification game
victory after diving to win a penalty in the 88th minute.
Diving is always wrong but what makes some worse than others is when the perpetrator admits it
afterwards and shows absolutely no remorse, which is precisely what Rezek did in this situation.

Everton 2-2 Aston Villa Premier League September 10 2011
Two ginger-haired Scots tacticians went head to head at Goodison Park on Saturday, with Moyes
and McCleish (surely ripe for a detective series?) watching their Everton and Villa sides share the
points.
Regular readers of this site will be all too aware of the recent problems that have beset
Plymouth Argyle Football Club. Plymouth's supporters, in conjunction with whose of Brighton & Hove
Albion, are now planning a protest on the twenty-fourth of September to which supporters of all
clubs will be welcome.
Renzo Ulivieri decided that the potential players strike in Italy was taking the focus away from
the real problem some coaching certificate business. And as the head of the coaches association, he
had to take action, thus he chained himself to the FIGC headquarters yesterday in protest.
Its a celebration of the long but ultimately successful battle to rid Liverpool of Tom Hicks and
George Gillett.
‘Spirit of Shankly: The noise that refused to be dealt with' is an exhibition of 16 photographs

They are on display at Unit 28 on the first floor of Liverpool's Met Quarter shopping centre until

The Joey Barton escapade continues to rumble at Newcastle United with some fans asking whether or
not some sort of protest would help. It is very difficult to avoid this Joey Barton situation at

A group of fans have hit upon a way to protest against Ashley, without damaging the team. It has
garnered a fair support so far with the likes of United for Newcastle (NOT to be confused with
NUSC) taking an active role in spreading the word and it may be worth considering if you're
interested [...]
If you make your way to Red Bull Arena for today's New York-FC Dallas, you're likely to find it
much, much quieter than usual.
The Red Bulls upset many of their fans for their recent treatment of the U.S. Open Cup
quarterfinals (sending a complete reserve team and not even flying in first-team coaches in an
eventual 4-0 loss to the Chicago Fire) and now New York Supporters Groups are ready to let the club
know just how upset they are by staging a protest at tonight's match.
Another great episode of this, the newest RBNY-themed podcast. This week, Matt and Ben discuss last
weekend's 0-0 @Chivas USA, the embarrassing 4-1 loss @Colorado, roster & lineup decisions, the
coming Supporters protest and preview tomorrow's massive, massive home fixture against FC Dallas.

It's now just seven years until Russia host the World Cup and bananas are still being

After refusing to rise to the bait after being issued with a banana by a racist Zenit supporter

substituting himself off in protest.
David Beckham & Zara Phillips' campaign to bring the magic of the World Cup to London's 2012
