Their third use of MLS in various promos. If you had doubts that they get it, are they still there?

Sweet Cobi Jones' ghost the promos for the #LAvRSL match are sexier than a couple of MFers. Even Bruce Arena looks like a badass. Can. Not. Wait.

Only a year ago Jay-Z was rumoured to be pondering investing in his favourite "soccer" club Arsenal, and now another hip hop icon, Snoop Dogg, has given a shout out to Welsh wing wizards Gareth Bale and Ryan Giggs.

Snoop is kicking off his new world tour in the UK and will be performing in Cardiff on October 8th, hence the promos.

So this ran last night during the Cowboys - Chargers preseason NFL game last night. Looks like NBC doesn't it? Kinda feel like it should be sandwiched between promos for The Office and Community and that it's a little surreal to see the MLS logo looking all big time next to the peacock.
I guess The Don wasn't playing was he when he talked about NBC cross-marketing the hell out of MLS.

NBC debuted a catchy 10-second promo including flashes of Donovan, jubilant crowds, Beckham, Soccer action and more intense shots of crowds, then finishing with big drum beats with only words on the screen MLS COMING MARCH 2012.
This spot made you want to watch and want to be at the stadium.

I came across this Fox Soccer Channel video the other day designed by motion graphic design student Adrian Amler. The student created the above interstitial video as part of his final exam. I must say that it's quite well done and better than some promos used by Fox Soccer Channel themselves.
