The offseason is now kicking into gear as training camp is open and the Seattle Sounders' first
cuts should be announced shortly. In this week's episode of Nos Audietis, we discuss the Sounders'
new partnership with the Tacoma Tide and their subsequent rebranding as Sounders U-23. The team
will play in the PDL and give Sounders Academy products an opportunity to stay close to come during
the offseason.

A little programming note to kick things off today. Sorry for the radio silence yesterday
(except for Geoff's Champion's League previews), I was hardly even able to look at soccer stuff
until late in the evening when the two MLS playoff games were on.
At last, I'm able to present to you the "really super cool blog" I've been promoting for over a
week. Today, we can read the insights of Tim Payton, who is a board member and the spokesperson for
the Arsenal Supporters' Trust. You can read more about Tim on the board page of the AST
website.
I've noticed there's been a bit of a confusion/controversy over EA not including all MLS teams in
the newest edition of the game. Here to answer to all that is Mr. Horse's Mouth (not his real
name).Side programming note: I will likely drop a combo catch-up/goodies post tonight, but it will
be late my time.
We know that Fredy Montero traveled with the team, but it's still unclear if he's going to be
deemed fit enough to even play, let alone start. We're operating under the assumption that the
best-case scenario involves him sitting on the bench when the Seattle Sounders visit the
Philadelphia Union on Saturday.
One of the virtues of being a league-focused show is being able to use the FA Cup weekends as a
time to reset, take inventory of what's happening around the league, and focus on topics we
normally don't have time to address. On this weekend's edition of the show, Kartik Krishnaiyer and
myself talk about this weekend's action, results that saw the holders leave the FA Cup, before
shifting to looking at the league.
