Join Us For A Red Bulls v. Crew LiveBlog!

0

Join me here, tonight at 7pm, as I have a couple of Bud Lights (Im on a diet), devour some sushi and take in the fixture that Juan Carlos Osorio calls "The most important game of the season."

Will Kandji take the pitch?

Will Schelotto actually play?

Will the Bulls at least emerge with a point?

The Thursday Night Hype: Chivas USA v. New England

1
I don't know if Kyle Martino will be on the mic again for this week's MLS Primetime match on ESPN but I'd like to give him props for being totally not awful last week. He & Stoner are no Harkes & Dellacamera, but who is. Still I'd like to see him stick around, perhaps teamed up with Glen Davis as the permanent backup team. Click to continue reading...

MORENO CHOKES : DC 0 - RBNY 0

Every road point counts as the march to the playoffs continue. Satudays Primetime game featured lots of back and forth play, with 0 goals to show for it. The evening ended in a 0-0 draw But its a draw that feels like a win - a road point during an important playoff race, given to us by a choking Jaime Moreno!

Previewing Primetime

0
I'm covering this week for the usual ESPN Thursday Primetime writer, Jeff Carlisle. My preview went up earlier today. If it seems heavy on Chivas USA - quotes, well, their players were available yesterday and the Galaxy didn't practice or have any media availability until today. I mean, it's not as if I could use my old Ruud Gullit quotes. Click to continue reading...

Wizards @ Crew Preview

As you know, tomorrow we face the Columbus Crew at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN 2 in our first MLS Primetime appearance of the season. We're 0-2-0 so far this season against Columbus but haven't lost a game since they gave us that nice 3-0 beat down here at CAB. If you recall, the defeated us 2-1 in Columbus earlier this year on FSC on early goals from Moffatt and Rogers. Click to continue reading...

VIDEO: Hijinks and Shenanigans In Houston

5
If you missed the Thursday night MLS Primetime match you missed the following: A good showing by Houston and travelling Dallas fans, a hard fought game, perhaps the worst dive in MLS history ever (How did Saragosa NOT get a card for it?!). And if that were not enough perhaps the most hardcore soccer mom in MLS showing the red what he should have done regarding a tackle on Stuart Holden. Click to continue reading...

Sandy Stadium is now Officially on the Clock

2
Oct 9th. Mark it down MLS fans as it will be Juneteenth for RSL, the day that they will be liberated from the shackles of Rice-Eccles Stadium as set free in the green pastures of RSL Stadium. At least that's the plan as club officials are shaggin' ass to get their new house in order for their ESPN Primetime match against RBNY on Oct. Click to continue reading...

Revs Stretch Unbeaten Run to Six

0

A perfect storm of timely scoring, good goalkeeping and poor shooting from the Dynamo, gave the Revolution a 2-0 victory over Houston Thursday night in the MLS primetime game of the week.

Steve Ralston and Kheli Dube scored first half goals and Matt Reis made several key saves in the win. Missing Shalrie Joseph, Kenny Mansally, and Khano Smith to international call-ups and Taylor Twellman and Gary Flood with injuries, Revs' coach Steve Nicol was forced to make some lineup adjustments.

After a slew of holiday games that saw LA win another game against another club that is as pathetic as they are. Toronto finally got a road win and Kansas City dropped another game.
