New record in Primera: Muniain is the youngest scorer ever

Talented Athletic Bilbao player, Iker Muniain scored in the duel against Valladolid, thus helping his side take a point and entered the history of Spanish football as the youngest scorer in a first-league game.

Muniain managed to level the score to 2:2, 70 minutes into the game and break the record set by Levante's starter, Xisco Nadal.

Last season hardly any team could have matched Barcelona, but that is not the reason for the rest of big Spanish clubs like Sevilla, Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal not to give their best in the next season.

Thanks to excellent form in the finish, Sevilla managed to come in third last season, which under the new rules sends Spanish, Italian and English teams automatically to the Champions League.

Barcelona demonstrated that, when they easily handled Manchester United in the Champions League finals. Still, last season was a disappointment for the Royal club, as even though they finished second in Primera, their European campaign was not worth mentioning, having in mind that they were humiliated by Liverpool that beat them 5:0.

Real want Ribery at any cost

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez is not giving up on his intention to bring the French player, Frank Ribery to the club, so he offered two of his Dutch internationals, Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben to Bayern in exchange for Ribery.
Peres already signed the contract with the Frenchman's manager, for Ribery to move to Real Madrid in summer 2010, but he continued with the pressure on the Bavarian club management to change the decision and let him come to the club that holds most trophies in Europe, this summer.
