I am sure many of you listening or reading about the AW press conference that happened at 9am today
will be very frustrated and angry. Personally I am still anxious about the state our squad is in,
but the press conference was quite clearly used to give absolutely nothing away to the media. AW's

With one of my precious days off today from my job that pays the bills, I made my way to Swope for
Sporting KC's practice today and the press conference with Peter Vermes and Soony Saad. The one
thing that was most surprising about practice today was that it was more laid back than I thought
it was.

1800 CET, which is in ten minutes from now. I don't see a direct link, but I imagine there will be
one soon.
During today's weekly press conference, Peter Vermes confirmed that all 5 of the players that
Sporting KC fans thought would be called up for this year's Gold Cup have in fact been called up.

Those are top quality Academy prospects!
There have been few Toronto FC press conferences that have been as momentous as last week's
introduction to Aron Winter & Co. There was the club unveiling in 2006, Dwayne De Rosario's signing
from Houston, "The Great Mo & Preki Escape" of 2010... Oh, and maybe Jacob Peterson's Amish Hip-Hop

criticized.
