There is a press conference scheduled for tomorrow at Arrowhead. It is supposed to be a major
announcement by Mayor Funkhouser. My guess is that they are announcing that Kansas City is in the
final 18 cities. That announcement is scheduled for December and it would be big enough to warrant
a press conference.

Tomorrow at the Wizards Swope Park Training Complex, the team will announce their new head coach in
a press conference at 2:30 pm. There's been speculation on who the new head coach would be since
the end of the season. With many of the other favorites only recently finishing their season
(Preki), or still being in the playoffs (Spencer, Hamlett, Sarachan), I think the announcement is
not going to be very surprising.

Of course all is not lost providing we sort ourselves out pretty quickly. As Rafa mentioned in his
press conference the Bolton match now becomes a must win. Hard to believe the 4th match of the
season could be described as such but I wouldn't fancy falling 9 points behind Chelsea. Anyways,
some observations, both positive [.

As I promised, here is the audio from Zoltán's press conference. I left in all the translation
portions since I know some of his Hungarian fans may listen in as well. Part 1 - Zoltán is

I will put the audio up from the press conference when Zoltán was introduced later today. It would
be up already but I goofed when I put it together so I have to rework it in awhile. It is long
(around 30 minutes) but has a lot of good info in it. In the mean time I just wanted to post this
so people could hear Zoltán speak and know how to pronounce his name.

Having made his English language comedy debut with his first press conference as Chelsea manager
by joking that he didn't know if John Terry would be captain of Chelsea this season, Carlo
Ancelotti kept the laughs coming after his 2-0 win over Inter Milan. When asked about the situation
surrounding Chelsea's interest in Andrea Pirlo, the man with the magic eyebrow said:

The fall out from the Wizards departure from the US Open Cup continues. Today at the Wizards weekly

Ahead of the biggest game in their history, USA coach Bob Bradley and striker Landon Donovan
probably had better things to do with their time than to sit down and answer pointless questions
from journalists with nothing but Michael Jackson and Barack Obama on their minds.
Landon Donovan deals with the first question as best he can but is quite visibly stunned when asked
