Either referee Drunko McSkunko is hallucinating again, or Czech side Bohemians 1905 actually did
put on some kind of strange, partially nude ballet during their training session a couple of days
ago...
For those who are now feeling the need to thoroughly wash, ring out and steam-press your
eyeballs, here's the official blurb to help clear everything up:
"A naked artist and players of Bohemians 1905 football team will perform on the field on October
22nd, 2011 at the famous Bohemians 1905 stadium in Prague during the 'Bohemians at Bohemka: What
Happens When an Artist Misses the Ball' event, part of 16th '4+4 Days in Motion' Performing Arts
Festival.
The well-named Czech club had an apt party last week for....well, the caption of one explains it
best:

Chelsea/Czech Republic goalkeeper, Petr Cech, played the drums with Czech rock band Eddie
Stoilow at Rock Cafe Club in Prague a few nights ago, which looked to be a helluva good time.
One can only hope, however, that the lady whose bum he was cupping off stage was his lawfully
wedded wife and not some groupie.
And it was all Blue, erm, I mean Yellow. Budding drummer and Chelsea keeper Petr Cech has made his
debut for a new outfit: Czech band Eddie Stoilow. He played live with the band for the first time
last week, at a concert in Prague. Among the set was Coldplay track Yellow, which you can [...]

The A to Z of the EFW Oktoberfest The 2011 EFW Oktoberfest will take place between October 20-24.
Based in Prague, and branching out as far afield as Bratislava, forty or so fans of clubs from all
around Europe will attend a festival of football, beer and giggles. Danny Last and Stuart Fuller
put some meat on those bones.
Vicente Del Bosque has released the list of players called up for the qualifying matches for the
Euro-2012, against the Czech Republic in Prague, and against Scotland in Alicante.
If you were expecting a surprise... well, remember who we're talking about.

Supposedly signed. You can see his Transfermarkt profile here.
Defensive midfielder, young, Czech (and ginger he and Sidwell could be a splendid combo). Much
to like here, although clearly he's going to be down the pecking order to begin with.
I've always liked Czech football.

The prospect of a trip to Slavia Prague next season hit Huddlestone like a slap in the faceWhat
shall we say about that season then? Rarely in Tottenham's recent history has opinion been so
polarised at the climax of a campaign. There are those who plant their flags in the failure camp,
claiming that dropping down to 5th and losing so many points in draws is unacceptable and that the
current regime is stalling.

Fifa.com Czech Knight who wowed in '62 Fifa.com But if the Czechoslovakia midfielder landed at the
FIFA World Cup™ with an alien identity, everyone knew who he was by the time he boarded his
squad's return flight to Prague.
I arrived in Prague last Wednesday night and wandered through customs into the arrival zone. A chap
waved a banner that had 'Ball' written on it, and although I thought it was a tad rude to just use
the surname, I was relieved to see that someone had come to pick me up. The young chap had a dark
suit and an electric green tie and he ushered me into his black Mercedes - very nice.

There are few things we love more than a 'baller wedding. Cupcakes, naked torsos, pink
champagne, Marco. Okay so there are more than a few things, but that's not the point here. Two of
our favorites Juventus' Gianluigi Buffon and Atletico Madrid's Diego Forlan have both recently
announced that they will be marrying their respective lady friends.
Liverpool's more adventurous approach under Kenny Dalglish is paying dividends, and Daniel Agger
believes it could lead to European glory.
The Reds ground out a ‘Liverpool of old' goalless draw against Sparta in Prague last week, and
will look to finish off the job at Anfield on Thursday.
But whilst, defensively, the Reds look a different proposition these days, Agger says it's not all
about the lads at the back.
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in...
* Over in Amsterdam, Luis Suarez spent the weekend saying goodbye to his former club.
There were fireworks, and an MC, and kicking souvenir balls into the crowd, and laughter and tears
and smiles and waves and and and I really don't quite get it.
There are few things worse than watching everyone else play football, so today, tomorrow, and
Monday come as a bit of a slap in the face. This weekend off also happens to be a nice reminder
that Liverpool are only alive for silverware in one competition, and it just so happens to
be the one in which they turned out a 90 minute collective coma.
When even Ray Hudson's most notable moment comes right off the top when he laments that Dani
Pacheco isn't the starting lineup before going on to say that N'Gog who he appears to think plays
in Pacheco's most likely position will need to go out and prove himself, you know you're in for a
match lacking in chameleon eyes and the soaring superhuman goals of a winged pegasus.
His former coaches think 16-year old wonderkid Raheem Sterling development as a footballer is at
the same level as Wayne Rooney at the same age. Raheem has been likened to Arsenal's Theo Walcott
but it is said Sterling is even better than Walcott. A fast, pacey attacking midfield player who
can "pass, shoot, head, score goals, tackle, defend" according to his Steve Gallen of QPR.
Its also congratulations to Petr Cech, who for the third season running and fourth time overall,
has won the Czech footballer of the year award for 2010 in an awards ceremony that took place in
Prague last night.
When presented with the award, Cech said:
I'll never grow tired of this, it's a great honour, I'm glad my work has been valued as
excellent, and I believe this is not the last time I'm here".
