There will be dribbling contest for boys and girls aged 6-11 at halftime during Saturday's
Philadelphia Union match against DC United at PPL Park.
Five kids will be selected to show off their dribbling skills. Those who have entered the
contest but were not selected can enjoy an ice cream party on the sidelines while the contest is
taking place.

Brian Carroll says of tonight's friendly, "I am not sure who we plan on playing and who they
plan on playing, but all I know is, no matter what, it's going to be a tough-fought game, both in
the friendly and when we play them in the Open Cup.
As I'm often inclined to say as an employee of both the public school system and a particularly
rowdy shore bar... it's never boring. If you like high drama, this year's Union is the MLS team
for you. The average fan wouldn't have thought that Le2-gate and its attendant fallout was only
the beginning of a long and crazy journey.

National Team soccer may return to PPL Park and Philadelphia in early 2013.
The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Outlaws posted on its Facebook page that Philadelphia submitted a bid to host a World Cup qualifying game featuring the United States Men's National Team in 2013. The stadium used in the bid was PPL Park, according to AO Philly.
The Illadelph welcomes Chelsea. That being said, tonight represents "The Next Movement" for our
upcoming season.

The Philadelphia Union has issued a traffic advisory for Saturday's game against DC United.
Those traveling via Route 291 will encounter lane reductions from Rainey Street to the entrance
ramp for Route 95. With increased traffic from an anticipated standing room only crowd, combined
with many who may be leaving for the game later than usual because of Saturday's final Group A
matches in Euro 2012, congestion and delays can be expected.
