This afternoon sees Newcastle United cruising down to the UK's "LGBT" (Lesbian, Gay, Bi and
Transgendered) capital, Brighton. However I shall reftain from indulging in the practically
limitless opportunities for cheap, tacky innuendo about Poyet's men getting Newcastle United "round
the back" and giving them a good pounding and so on.
When it comes to blunt, outspoken support for Liverpool's Luis Suarez, Brighton manager and fellow
Uruguayan Gustavo Poyet has been El Pistolero's most passionate advocate, but he may be about to
pay for publicly criticising English football's alleged Governing body.After Suarez was banned for
8 games, Poyet rubbished the decision and called it 'Incredible, shocking and disproportionate',
and it
I realise this is slightly old news now but what the hell John Terry is set to face prosecution
over racism claims during a match with QPR a few weeks back. A complaint from a member of the
public was made to the police regarding the incident in which Terry squared up to Ferdinand before
apparently insulting him verbally.
Liverpool FC. A team often associated with great past glories, one of the best match day
atmospheres and some of the finest players to have ever graced the British game. However, their
actions in response to the suspension handed to Luis Suarez have in my opinion been nothing short
of extraordinary.
