Brazil Announces Roster For Upcoming Qualifiers

3
Dunga, fairly or not, is feeling the heat for the Selecao's performances the last couple of matches.  He decided to make some changes for the next two qualifiers.  The most obvious move was replacing Ronaldinho for Kaka.  The two AC Milan playmakers seem to be meshing well after their performance in the Rossoneri's 1-0 win [. Champions League predictions

GROUP A: 1. Chelsea, 2. Roma, 3. Bordeaux, 4. Cluj-Napoca
The top two clubs should have no problem advancing here and will rack up four wins a piece of the group doormats -- who I don't know much about. Head-to-head I give the advantage to the Blues. Roma doesn't have the firepower to match the English side. Click to continue reading...

Fire 1, Red Bulls 0: A look back

1

There is plenty to discuss regarding this weekend's match-up between the Chicago Fire and New York Red Bulls, from the intense battle that wound up being decided by one mistake to the return of Juan Carlos Osorio to Toyota Park (there is also my 48 hours in Chicago, which I will get into later).

Ricardo Quaresma Unplugged Intro

7
Nerazzurri Fans may well ask who is this Portuguese wonder boy? What will he add to our club?  What is his style? and will he fill the boots of Luis Figo to become the next midfield magician for Inter?  Comparison to Cristiano Ronaldo is little surprise as Quaresma is yet one more from that current crop of outstanding Portuguese playmakers. Morning all,

hope you're fine and dandy this Sunday morning. Some bits and pieces to get through and there's a lot of chaff amongst the wheat today.

The Mail is reporting Newcastle have made a bid for Philippe Senderos but the whole article is so utterly rubbish I'm not linking to it.

Boats 'N Hoes

Morning all. That video is hilarious. If you don't know what it's from it's from the movie Step Brothers that just came out. I saw it last night and I didn't stop laughing.

So it's been a quiet few days in the world of Arsenal. No matches till Monday so I suppose they've just been training away. Click to continue reading...

the one that got away

is this the game that's going to eat at us? we had three points in our pocket and then had a complete mental breakdown in stoppage time of the first half. that allowed chivas usa to get a point at home. (they came at us strong in the second half, but we weathered the storm, which seems to be happening a lot of all of the sudden - the whole hanging on instead of collapsing. Euro 2008 Quarter Final: Portugal 2 - 3 Germany

1
Portugal looked like they didn't know what hit them after two clinical first-half goals from the Germans. The usual swagger was missing from Big Phil's side and their technical skills were poor. The Germans were a lot bigger, and a lot better. And Ronaldo cried a lot...

WIWFC Part 4 - The Claws & Teeth

0
Welcome back. Having addressed the spine of the team and the appendages that make it move, we now have to shift our attention to the business end of this deadly beast--the nasty, big, pointy teeth if you will. The question marks here are big and bold in 36-point font with exclamation points, as the Godfather of Goals, Jaime Moreno, and the best player in the league over the last three years, Click to continue reading...
