Legendary coach Manny Schellscheidt has been a pioneer in American soccer for decades, and on
Monday he retired from his long-time profession, stepping down as Seton Hall head coach after 24
years.
Schellscheidt spent nearly a quarter century in charge of the Pirates, but he had already
established an impressive coaching resume even before that.

In a prime example of the worth of the old "do your research" adage, Crystal Palace midfielder
Andy Dorman got a rather nasty surprise after agreeing a loan move to League Two side Bristol
Rovers.
On learning of a potential move to the Pirates, the Welsh international jumped at the chance,
but in his eagerness to secure some regular playing time, he forget to do his research and expected
to be moving down just the one division.
The District tournament will be held at Kickapoo High School, with a pair of play-in games on
Saturday October 29th. The semifinal games are scheduled for November 1st followed by the Final on
November 3rd.

"The islanders (the English) are the pirates of the world, a bunch of pirates...I will make their
lives hell... In 2014, I'll be able to get away with anything. The most slippery, unthinkable,
Machiavellian things - denying press credentials, barring access, changing game schedules. While
I'm at the CBF, at FIFA, they won't get past the door!
On the round-up this week, Brazilian football chief Teixeira blasts the FA "pirates", Micah
Richards, one of the best right backs in the world according to Micah Richards, bemoans his lack of
England call-ups, and it's that time again when the Premier League starts whining about the August
England international.

In an interview with German press agency DPA, Argentinian FIFA ExCo member Julio Grandona
started by pissing and whining about the relentless attacks on 'the FIFA family' by the English
media, denied being glad-handed by the Qatar 2022 team in return for his vote and then went on to
implicate himself in perhaps the largest-scale bribe ever to have taken place within the governing
body's corridors of power:
"Yes, I voted for Qatar, because a vote for the US (who were beaten by Qatar in the race to host
the 2022 finals) would be like a vote for England and that is not possible.

Will Bolivar be able to win against the defending District champs? As one coach from the region
noted, they have the best offense with Jonna Welch and Sarah Magana but Harrisonville has four
players headed for future college playing careers.
Mikaela Branson, Ozark Tigers (2012)
There are three Districts encompassing the Ozark and Central Ozark Conference in Class 3. The
Sectional game on Tuesday May 24th will be hosted by the winner of District 12 while the District
10 winner would host the District 9 winner. This is based upon the Fall model where the Even
district number winner was host, a model used for the first time last season.
Emily Cline & Alix Opfer, Glendale Falcons, 2011 Mar
One regularly scheduled match and a pair of weather make-ups are on tonights calendar. The
scheduled match is Kickapoo vs Glendale, the game that counts towards Conference rankings in their
annual derby. Glendale is undefeated in Conference and a loss to Kickapoo would drop them to 8-1,
sharing the title with Camdenton.
After a humiliating 8-1 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich last weekend, FC St. Pauli's drop
to the second tier of German football was confirmed. A horrid run of ten games has seen the club
gain only a single point, and any hopes of a miracle escape were crushed by the rampant
Bavarians.
Last weekend of the regular season and Ozark has added a game to their schedule with tonight's
game. The Moberly Spartans are a Top-10 Class 2 team that lost in the District Finals last year to
Helias. This year that meeting will likely come in the Sectional game as #1 seeded Helias is in
District 10 while Moberly is now in District 9.
Paige Townsend, Nixa Eagles (2014)
With the Class 3 seeding already complete for District 11, the game between Nixa and Ozark tonight
is now focused on the Central Ozark Conference title race which will be determined with the results
of this game.

Freshman Paige Townsend scored on a header, on a ball delivered by Lauren Moats, to get what would
turn out to be the game-winner tonight, approximately 5 minutes into the second half.
With the Class 3 seeding already complete for District 11, the game between Nixa and Ozark
tonight is now focused on the Central Ozark Conference title race which will be determined with the
