Barcelona defender Gerard Pique joked with Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas on Spanish TV this week
about moving to the Nou Camp.
Back in Spain for international week, Cesc has been forced to answer the frenzied speculation about
his future with the Gunners.
And Pique, joking with his Spain teammate, told the Esport Club audience, "Hello, I present to you
Cesc Fabregas, the future of FC Barcelona.

Oh, Senor Pep! Ha sido un largo tiempo! Now that the internationals
are over and done with, Barca's Babes are getting ready to face the exciting
Valencia tomorrow. As expected, the Messiah flew back via private
jet which was provided by the club.

Hotter than Enrique Igelsias, It's Spanish football...
The big two just keep on winning as Villereal, Atletico Madrid and Valencia all drop points. Too
early to tell but the traditional two Spanish-horse race is taking shape.
Deportivo La Coruna 1 0 Villarreal
Zaragoza 3 0 Getafe C.

26:13 - Â I was going to watch today's match between
Barcelona and Racing before I wrote a review on my position
regarding Barcelona and the big time talent they have emptied their pockets to bring in. Â
I couldn't do it.

Despues de unas cortas vacaciones del blog esto es lo que encuentro en mi buzon. No me quejo. Al
parecer a Carlos Puyol y a Ibrahimovic se les olvido que estaban en la cancha de futbol y no en el
telo de la noche anterior. Pique como siempre no pudo esperar su turno y queria formar parte del
Erotismo en la Cancha 2009.

Noooooo! There goes our dream final of Spain VS Brazil. Then again, overconfidence doesn't get
you anywhere, so we'd better shut up about defeating South Africa tonight because
they might pull a USA and suffocate Kaka and the fantastic
Felipe Melo in midfield like what they did to Xavi yesterday.

Geri The Pout Piqué is not afraid of Potter Perez and insists
that only a lion would be able to scare him, instead of Potter's absurd monetary antics that have
taken the football world by storm in the recent week. Yes, seriously have you wondered how the hell
the non-futbol folk find the time to sleep while an earthquake is going on here in
Futbol Land?

FC Barcelona's Gerard Pique has told the press firmly that Lionel Messi won't be leaving Barca
anytime soon. The blaugrana defender Pique stated: 'Lionel will not be gone anytime soon. Despite
the pressure of Florentino Perez (Real Madrid's chairman). It's always a pleasure to play with him
and see the amazing things he can do.

Did Chelski honestly think that they would have it easy? Lo siento, but
they deserved to be out! Barca showed that they deserved it all by pulling through with ten-men.
Even if you think the away-goal rule was always going to be on their side - not
any team could've pulled off what they did last night.

So after my thinly veiled criticism of Barcelona's failure to show us all against Chelsea just why
they have scored so many goals this season - they go and prove their point - by beating Real Madrid
at the Bernabeu. And not just beating them; thrashing them....6-2 to be exact.
Â
A phenomenal performance from the Catalan giants; Chelsea would've watched with slight unease at
the way Barca romped to a convincing win over their bitter rivals.

Pique was officially presented as a Barcelona player on Thursday. "I am thankful to be able to
return home," said Pique. "It is a dream to return home. "When I was 17 I took the
decision to leave because when you are younger your first dream is to play football and the other
to play for Barca." "Today [.

The 21-year-old is going home. The Spanish defender agreed to a four-year contract with ex-club FC
Barcelona. The move was reported to be worth around £6 million. I think Pique has plenty of
potential and in 4 years he will be worth 5 times that amount. I understand his frustration and his
decision.

Negotiations with
Manchester United over (Barca youth academy grad)
Gerard Pique are
said to be almost complete. The player has passed a medical in Barcelona and if all goes well the
signing should be announced soon. [I am very pleased by this signing. Decent price, good player
coming home, everybody's happy.

It seems Gerard Pique has run out of patience at Old Trafford. After joining Manchester United at
only 17-years-old in the summer of 2004 from Spanish giant Barcelona, Pique was loaned to Real
Zaragoza for a season. Since then, Pique has struggled to earn a spot on Sir Alex's first team. He
only made 9 [.

I picked this one up from The World Cup blog, who grabbed it from The Sun, a British tabloid who
compiled a list of 20 young players to watch in 2008. Ten of them are playing for teams that have
made the knock out round (Final 16) of the UEFA Champions League which will begin again in
February. Follow the links to see the entire list with background on each of the players.
