KICKETTE 26 October @ 05:51 AM EST
Reason number 908 as to why base layers should be banned from the game:
Philippe Mexes (Roma) and his exposed bottom cheek.
Let's call this what it truly is, shall we? Good for the economy.
Seeing this man's lower half is enough motivation for fangirls worldwide to get out of bed and
head to work this morning.

Ah, we've not seen Mrs Doubtfire Ranieri in a long time... but how dare you
forget him! Juve's mighty swords may have dropped him five months ago but he got a new job as
Roma's coach.
He started his career with the I Giallorossi, so we're guessing it's a great honour to
return as coach.

Monday was another light day on the transfer news and rumors front, but we still do have some
top clubs looking to make reinforcements before time runs out.
Defense is still the order of the day, as a few Premier League clubs are in the market for
additions at the back, while a couple of top European clubs are looking to add some quality on the
flanks.

Stupid deal that Mr. Ancelotti not even consider!
Despite Luciano Spalletti's declaration that Philippe Mexes would be staying put at
Trigoria, the Giallorossi's management could be tempted by a bid from Carlo Ancelotti's
Chelsea.
According to 4-4-2.com, Ancelotti wants Mexes to partner John Terry in central defence this
season and is willing to pay €14m plus Portuguese international Ricardo Carvalho for the
Frenchman.

Liverpool FC confirmed yesterday evening that Alberto Aquilani has successfully completed a
medical and agreed a five-year contract with the club. Aquilani cost Liverpool £20million from AS
Roma.
The Italian is unlikely to make his Reds debut before October. The player will now continue his
rehabilitation from an ankle operation under the guidance of Liverpool's medical team and is
expected to be fully fit in approximately four to eight weeks' time.

John Arne Riise, a former Liverpool player now plying his trade at Roma, believes team-mate Alberto
Aquilani has what it takes to be a success in the Premier League.
The Norwegian international, who has a thunderous left-footed shot, admitted to The Daily Express
that upon his own move from Liverpool to Roma, he had little idea who Aquilani was, but it did not
take long for him to learn of the Italian's ability.

It's a player peroxide fiesta of late, Kickettes. Not sure if the summer heat has literally gone
to everyone's heads or what, but let's investigate:
Alan Smith has returned to his former bottle blonde bleached-out avec roots look after a brief
dabble in au naturel;
John Arne Riise has gone from ginger to strawberry blond to just plain blonde.

Even though Franck Ribery was widely tipped to leave Alianz Arena this summer, he could stay for
another season and then leave for just €22 million. It's clear that Real Madrid
is Ribery's next destination and Los Merengues are likely to save around €60 million under
Article 17 of FIFA Regulations.

Welcome to another Thursday Thigh Off.
On a day that isn't Thursday.
Perhaps the time may have come for us to take on a thigh-specific expert willing to work
tirelessly into the night uploading photos of quadriceps to our server without a single cocktail
break. But that's probably illegal under the employment act.

intero pronto ad accoglierlo a braccia aperte, con i tifosi in visibilio
che non aspettavano altro che i suoi spunti e le sue giocate di

couple's young son and the car thieves thought the car was theirs for the taking.

Italy 2-0 FranceAu revoir, mes enfants. You got the feeling it wasn't going to be France's day when Franck
Ribery had to go off injured after just 8 minutes, having messed up his ankle in by getting tangled
up with Gianluca Zambrotta. Ribery has been one of the few bright spots for France in this
tournament, although I do think that Samir Nasri, who came on as his replacement, deserved more
playing time as well.
