Union rename PPL Park to Talen Energy Stadium

PPL Park is now Talen Energy Stadium.

Information on the Philadelphia Union's website revealed that the stadium has been renamed.

In 2010, Union ownership and PPL EnergyPlus agreed to an "11-year naming rights partnership," which has a reported worth of $20 million.

Last year, PPL Corporation and Riverstone Holdings agreed to merge their energy providers to form an independent company that would operate under the name "Talen Energy.
