Things have been quite since the Team Owners Association (TOA) along with members of NuRock

First of all, check out this insane header goal from Martin Palermo of Boca Juniors:
Then, read Jack Warner's comments about England's bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018. No word
on whether others within FIFA feel the same way or not, but that can't be a bad thing for the USA
bid.

Well it looks as if the Toronto FC won't be getting a jab at the MLS
Cup this year. At least not after their performance against the Chicago Fire.
Chicago's Brian McBride put a late 78th minute goal past the defense and into the
opposing Toronto net.

I have had a long-standing love affair with many, but not all, things Australian for quite a bit.
They're kind of like the Texans of the Commonwealth; in my experience they're generally a happy lot
that possess something of a pioneer spirit, can run a mean ranch, they can BBQ and they've produced
some of the finest specimens of the female form ever to grace God's creation.

Some of our friend has started a i-petition to get La Liga Telecast in India. I am not sure whether
this will make any diffrence. But sittying here idle also is not going to make any change. So this
is one of our last resort. I want everyone to sign this petition. Once we have garnered enough
signature we can take these to the Sports channels and give them the exact amount of fans whom they
are depriving of a chance to watch the League.

Not Guilty!
You may have missed it, as the newspapers were keeping unsurprisingly quiet about that whole
thing, but as it turns out those pesky Tottenham fans at Fratton Park who were vilified by the
press for abusing Sol Campbell, well they had their cases thrown out of court. See below.

Ready to get that taste out of your mouth? The U.S. Men return to qualifying action Saturday
against El Salvador before facing Trinidad and Tobago next Wednesday. A pair of wins here or a win
and a draw would go a long way to solidifying the USA's place in next summer's FIFA World Cup in
South Africa.

While today's news has been slow due to the mass amount of international matches on this side of

If you were looking forward to watching the US-Mexico World Cup qualifier on August 12, you might
be out of luck. Steven Goff is reporting that Telemundo, which falls under the NBC family of
networks, is opting not to sell their English-language rights to ESPN for the match in Mexico
City.
With ESPN, who have broadcasted the rest of the USMNT qualifiers this year, out of the picture,
Telemundo will broadcast the game on mun2, a channel that frequently broadcasts in English and is
geared towards a younger demographic.

As most of you probably heard sometime between yesterday afternoon and this morning, there will
be no ESPN broadcast for the US-Mexico World Cup qualifier next month. Sad times I know.
Apparently the game in English will be shown on a channel most either have never heard of or
even have on their TVs.
