Drury placed six men's soccer players on the Daktronics All-Midwest Region first team announced
on Tuesday.
Members of the Panthers who were honored, after helping Drury to a 21-2-0 record and their first
Great Lakes Valley Conference championship and NCAA-II Tournament berth, were keeper Stephen
Conner, forwards Micah Whorton and Steve Wilczewski, midfielder Andrew Bordelon and defenders Ben

team will be looking to rebound from Wednesday's difficult loss to the Des Moines Menace.

Missouri S&T's Pat McNamee (pictured against Indy in September) has been selected as the 2008
GLVC Freshman of the Year. McNamee, a goalkeeper for the Miners, posted 0.98 goals against average,
a 0.846 save percentage and six shutouts in league play. He helped S&T to a 4-4-4 conference record
and to a berth in the GLVC tournament.

The Drury Panthers looked like a finally tuned sports car this evening as they faced their Western
neighbors. The goals were all scored from inside the six yard box as the Panthers moved the ball
with pace and urgency throughout the game.
