Former Rep of Ireland u-21 striker Eamon Zayed (28) became a hero for his new
Iranian club Persepolis Tehran after he scored a late,late hat-trick to secure a 3-2 win in the
Tehran derby last night.
Persepolis trailed 2-0 with just nine minutes remaining on the clock before Zayed found his
scoring boots to fire a hat-trick in just over 10 minutes.
Two Iranian player's have been banned from entering any Iranian stadiums, after the Iranian FA
deemed their Persian Gulf Cup goal celebrations too intimate.
Mohammed Nosrati and Sheis Rezael were banned indefinitely for their goal celebrations during
the Persian Gulf Cup tie between Persepolis and Damash Gilan which was broadcasted live in the
staunchly Islamic Country.

and all Iranian stadiums after partaking in a post-goal 'bum grope' celebration during the Persian
Gulf Cup match with Damash Gilan - a match that was broadcast live to a vast audience in the
staunchly conservative Islamic county.
