Witsel debut their new 'Just tying my laces, honest guvnor!' throw-in trick against Vitoria
Setubal...
Ooh, you sneaky devils!
"Why I oughta.

with opponents Vitoria Setubal's six-yard box. His team-mate Axel Witsel wasn't in any such rush
and was happy to take his time while tying his laces. Pereira didn't want to hang around and
decided to throw the ball against [.
Yes, the gentlemen involved are Uruguayan and Belgian Benfica's Maxi Pereira and Axel

This is a technique which is terribly underutilized in the sport. In fact, all forms of
chicanery are underutilized these days. We're still missing the glory days of Catania's dropping

As we all know AVB is planning a
clear out starting in January and continuing next summer
after the club confirmed that transfer requests have been accepted from
Alex and
Nico
Anelka. Over the weekend stories also broke that AVB is prepared to listen to offers for
Drogba, Kalou, Bosingwa and Ferreira.
Word out of Colombia earlier today stated that Sporting KC assistant, Octavio Zambrano, had

Manchester United have landed PSV starlet Andreas Pereira and he will be joining his new team in
January. The 15 year old Brazilian-born Belgium youth international was monitored by a host of

Is the pursuit of Luka Modric finally over? Reply hazy, try again later.
I initially loved the idea of adding the Croatian to our midfield during the close season. That
idea soured as the summer continued. Missing out on Modric at £40 or so million was proper
business for Chelsea.
Transfer deadline day has finally arrived and once again it seems that Spurs will be frantically
trying to tie up deals for a number of players in a number of positions.
All the usual suspects seem to be involved – Gary Cahill, Scott Parker, Chris Samba and
Leandro Damiao but there is a new name emerging and an interesting one at that.
The reserves literally just wrapped a 1-1 draw with Blackburn at Stamford Bridge. Somewhat
unlucky, too. It was a solid performance from the guys, Mellis with the goal. Anyway.
At halftime, sporting director Michael Emenalo spoke to ChelseaTV. He offered some good insight
into what to expect from some of our high-profile youth players that are currently on the fringes
of the first team.

Sorry for the lack of substance over the past two days or so. I've been locked in a padded room

amongst other things, a shirt signing feature EBJT and Super Frank as well as Saturday's match at
the Bridge.

According to reports coming from Porto, Chelsea made a bid of around £16.6m for Pereira which has
been rejected. Alvaro Pereria can play as full back or wing back down the left hand side and seems
to have been identified as a direct replacement for Yuri Zhirkov who left the club earlier this
month.
Yes, £120m this calendar year on six players and it seems that Chelsea still have every intention
on spending more as Roman Abramovich started it, but AVB will take on the blue revolution at the
Bridge.
Luiz, Torres, Courtious, Lukaku, Romeu and Mata are the names we have brought to the club and with
rumours rife that we are in for Pereira of Porto and a central midfielder, that figure will rise to
well over £150m.

Could this man be on his way to the Bridge?
First we've heard, but the Daily Mail are reporting this morning that Chelsea have a sneaky £22
million bid for supposed Arsenal target Juan Mata knocked back by Valencia but apparently, like
some sort of cash-laden Terminator, 'they will be back'.
The agent of Porto full-back Alvaro Pereira has refused to rule out a summer move for the Uruguayan
but admits any interested clubs will have to pay his full €30 million release clause.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Premier League giants Liverpool and Chelsea, as well
as mega-rich French side PSG and his agent Alejandro Savich believes a move could happen.

Pereira recently capped off a fantastic year when he helped guide Uruguay to a famous Copa
America win, merely two months after claiming Portuguese glory as well as the Europa League title
with FC Porto.
