It's been a few weeks since Benny Canuck graced us with his presence on the Late Show by TFC
Connected. This time around he's live on location in Florida, talking to Paul Winsper at the hotel
the team is staying at. Paul and Benny discuss the recent car incident, David Beckham, and Seattle
playing at an NFL stadium.
In the wake of the news of John Carver's resignation, there are many questions floating around. For
example, what's going on with both Chris Cummins and Paul Winsper?
If you were watching It's Called Football this morning, Duane Rollins mentioned that if Cummins
isn't given the head coaching job, both he and Winsper are heading back across the pond.
Both Sam Cronin and Stefan Frei have looked impressive early on this season. In fact, both of them
are making pretty good cases early on to be candidates for this year's Rookie of the Year award.
Let's not forget the third member of our first round draft class from this past January - Jamaican
born Toronto native O'Brian White.
Sorry for the lengthy absence - I am back. And seething with anger. This isn't exactly going to be
a warm-fuzzy post about how I love TFC. It's a little negative, so brace yourself for it.
If football matches were only 75 minutes long, we'd be 3 points off of first in the league, and
we'd have a playoff spot locked up.
TFC players with a sweet tooth can rejoice! The Reds' notoriously tough fitness coach Paul Winsper
has announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of the year to take a new role at
athletic wear giant/ South East Asian Employer of the Month - Nike.
Winsper, whose TFC contract ends at the end of this month, will move his family to Nike's
Beaverton, Oregon Imperial base after a two-and-a-half year relationship with Toronto FC.
