30-Somethings are dominating the NBA these days. They're everywhere, making their presence felt in crunchtime.
Almost every team in the 2013 playoffs has at least one 30 year-old plus player making a difference:
Ray Allen, Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem, Chris Anderson, Shane Battier/Miami Heat, Jason Kidd, Pablo Prigioni/New York Knicks, Kevin Garnett, Jason Terry, Paul Pierce/ Boston Celtics, Kirk Hinrich, Carlos Boozer/Chicago Bulls, Chauncey Billups/LA Clippers, Tayshaun Prince/Memphis Grizzlies, Kyle Korver/Atlanta Hawks, Andre Miller/Denver Nuggets, Nick Collison/OKC Thunder, Pau Gasol, Antawn Jamison/LA Lakers and Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan, Matt Bonner, Tony Parker/San Antonio Spurs.

night. Boston was at home and was favored to win. And thanks to a late rally, the Celtics were able
to take home the victory and advance to play the Miami Heat in the 2012 Eastern Conference
Kevin Garnett powered Boston with 18 points and 13 rebounds, however it was Rajon Rondo who came
up big at the end.
Perhaps all the Boston Celtics needed was their best player. Losers of their first three games
this season, the Celtics welcomed back Paul Pierce and then welcomed themselves to the win column
with a 96-85 victory over the Detroit Pistons.
In his debut, Pierce had 12 points, five assists and four rebounds.
Earlier today, an NBA trade rumor had Chris Paul getting traded to the Boston Celtics. The deal
would have sent Rajon Rondo to the New Orleans Hornets. However, according to sources close to
Chris Paul, the Celtics can quit their daydreaming because Paul won't sign an extension with
Without an extension, the Celtics wouldn't do the deal.
The Boston Celtics appeared to be on their way to a Game 5 win against the Miami Heat. Then
everything changed when LeBron James played like LeBron James down the stretch. Often criticized
for not playing well at the end of playoff games, LeBron scored the Heat's final ten points as
Miami sprinted to a 97-87 victory.
Even though the Chicago Bulls have been on fire for months, NBA pundits have been slow to give
'em credit. But after what we saw on Thursday night, it's now impossible to overlook the Bulls.
Going up against the Boston Celtics, the Bulls dominated and won by a final score of 97-81. The
victory all but wrapped up the Eastern Conference for Chicago.
Just a week ago, it appeared that the San Antonio Spurs were destined to finish with the best
record in the NBA. But on Thursday night against the Boston Celtics, the Spurs lost their fifth
straight game. With Rajon Rondo leading the way, the Celtics took home one of their best wins of
the season in a game that featured two struggling title contenders.
In the finals of the 2011 NBA Three-Point Shootout, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce faced off. These
two sharpshooters on the Boston Celtics are two of the best three-point shooters in NBA history. Oh
yeah ... and James Jones of the Miami Heat was also in the finals. Surprising everyone, James Jones
actually ended up winning.
In the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics beat the Orlando Magic. On Sunday
prior to the Super Bowl, the Celtics proved that they are still the better team. As a matter of
fact, the Celtics have the best record in the East while the Magic are struggling to find their
footing after retooling their team.
The reserves were named for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game. The starters for both the Eastern
Conference and the Western Conference were named last Thursday. There is one spot still open in the
Western Conference, however. Since Yao Ming is injured yet was still voted in as a starter, NBA
commissioner David Stern will have to name a replacement player for the West.
The Boston Celtics lost Game 7 last year in Los Angeles as the Lakers won their second straight
NBA championship. On Sunday, the Celtics got their revenge. After outscoring the Lakers 59-42 in
the second half, the Celtics posted a 109-96 victory despite Kobe Bryant pouring in 41 points in 38
Against the Boston Celtics, Derrick Rose was the best player on the court. And that's quite a
feat considering the Celtics have at least four Hall of Fame players on their roster. But on
Saturday, the game belonged to Rose, who finished with 36 points. When all was said and done, the
Bulls had a 90-79 victory over the Celtics.
The Boston Celtics are playing the Orlando Magic on Christmas. Celtics forward Paul Pierce is
making good use of his time in Orlando by taking his daughter to Disney World. Here are the picture
of Paul Pierce and his daughter having a blast in the happiest place on earth.
The Boston Celtics can't be stopped. Even without the injured Rajon Rondo, the Celtics were able
to beat the Atlanta Hawks by a final score of 102-90 to extend their winning streak to 12 games.
Most experts thought it would be the Miami Heat leading the way in the Eastern Conference but
instead it is the old yet still hungry Celtics.
When LeBron James decided to sign with the Miami Heat, he famously said he was bringing his
talents to South Beach. On Thursday, after the Boston Celtics defeated the Heat for the second time
this season, Paul Pierce mocked LeBron James on Twitter by saying "It's been a pleasure to bring my
talents to south beach now on to Memphis".
When Rajon Rondo was left off Team USA this summer, many NBA pundits thought that he'd enter the
2010-11 NBA season with something to prove. So far, those pundits were right. On Friday, Rondo had
an amazing triple-double finishing with 10 points, 24 assists and 10 rebounds. Those 24 assists
were a career-high.
When the Miami Heat signed LeBron James and Chris Bosh this summer, many league pundits handed
the Heat the 2011 NBA championship trophy. However, a funny thing happened on the way to the
podium. On NBA opening night, the Boston Celtics the reigning Eastern Conference champions proved
that the Heat are still a work in progress.
The 2010 NBA free agent class is headlined by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. You can
now add two more superstars to the list: Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics and Dirk Nowitzki of the
Dallas Mavericks. Both players opted out of the last years of their contract to become free agents.
While not a shock, the news wasn't a slam dunk, either.
In Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals, Kobe Bryant surely had to play well for the Los Angeles Lakers
to beat the Boston Celtics, right? Guess again. Kobe Bryant spent the entire game succumbing to the
pressure and playing one of his worst games of the season. As it turned out, Kobe's choke wasn't
enough for the Boston Celtics to pull out a victory.
The ultimate game in basketball will take place on Thursday night when the Los Angeles Lakers
face the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals. In what promises to be a classic contest,

the game due to a serious knee injury.
The Boston Celtics defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 92-86 on Sunday to take a 3-2 lead in the NBA
Finals. Though Kobe Bryant scored 38 for Lakers, it wasn't enough. Paul Pierce tallied 27 points in
his best game of the series, while Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo each had 18 for the Celtics.
Boston is now on the brink of another NBA title.
The NBA lockout is getting serious. According to multiple sources, David Stern and Dwyane Wade
got in a fight during Friday's negotiating session. Wade was apparently felt disrespected after
Stern pointed at him and responded by yelling at the commissioner.
After the incident, Wade and other players were going to leave the negotiations.
