The papers are very entertaining. Over the last few weeks, not a day has gone by without another
back page headline about Chelsea being ready to splash the cash in January either on some La Liga
mega-star or a Brazilian wonderkid currently plying his trade in South America.
Last week I wrote an post on how Chelsea had – since the suspension of the transfer ban – been

Its no news that Liverpool is preforming quite horrid at the moment, sitting in 7th place, 11
points behind Chelsea. With the combination of poor form and the plague of injuries that seem to be
following the lads over at Anfield, we can only ask come January who will help aid these
wounds.

The World Cup is almost set in terms of the teams that will qualify and once the play-offs are
completed it will be clear whether the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry and Franck Ribery
will be present or missing. In the meantime, Sweden's talented forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will
certainly not be going to the World Cup after his country failed to qualify from the same group
which saw eventual winners Denmark earn automatic qualification and runners-up Portugal reach the
play-offs.

Milan has really jumped up the table these past few weeks. After the horrible start where
everyone condemned the Rossoneri to a season of misery, Leonardo's squad has made a complete
turnaround, finally playing well and becoming contenders once again. They now find themselves 5
points behind leaders Inter and only 2 behind Juventus and saying the word Scudetto shouldn't be
met with laughter.

What a great show the tifosi put on last night! Perhaps they couldn't
all contain their whistles when Ricky got hold of the ball, but they certainly
showed their cuori che sono grandi (big hearts) nevertheless. On the pitch, it's safe to
say that Los Blancos played strikingly better than the first leg, even without the sadly
missed Greaseano.

Milan surprised everyone as they started the match in blitzing form. No doubt, they were full of
confidence and self-belief after having claimed three wins from three in the last week. Seedorf put

Until midway through the second half, I couldn't understand how an attack of Ronaldinho, Seedorf,

and as unexpected as Iker Casillas' goal keeping errors, Andear Pirlo snuck in a long range .
