Twitter has brought us plenty of breaking news since it's become one of the quickest ways to spread
news, and the Wizards have done their fair share of it. Wizards President Robb Heineman has given
fans some news today as he announced "verbal agreement on assistant coach. hopefully announe soon,
after contract signed".

The guys went through a light session this morning before departing for San Jose. One thing of
note, defender/midfielder Chance Myers has been removed from the Disabled List and is available for
selection Saturday should Peter Vermes feel he is ready for game action. Kronberg and Souter remain
on the DL.

KC will no longer be lead by Curt Onalfo. (Brian Stevens, WVH Photo Correspondent)
Turns out losing 6-0 can get you fired, but I'm sure that wasn't the only reason. According to a
couple KC blogs (DTB and Back Post), Kansas City has fired head coach Curt Onalfo. Along with
Onalfo, assistant coach, Kris Kelderman was also let go leaving Kerry Zavagnin and John Pascarella
as the two remaining coaches.

Thad over at The Back Post has the breaking news, with the press release coming soon, that Coach
Onalfo has been dismissed by the Wizards. The move comes after the Wizards embarrassing 6-0 loss to
Dallas on Sunday. Along with Onalfo being let go, assistant coach, Kris Kelderman was also let go.
That leaves Kerry Zavagnin and John Pascarella as the two remaining coaches.

Saw something unusual and hilarious at practice today. Coach Pascarella was working with Kronberg
and Pardo on the near goal.Kronberg taking a shot on Pardo...While I do not have a shot of it, we
all saw it happen. Metro Sports was interviewing Aaron Hohlbein after the scrimmage. One of the
shots by a goalie missed to one side.

After tomorrow night's match, nearly the entire team will appear Sunday at Heritage Soccer Park in
Overland Park, Kan. during the Kansas City Invitational Tournament to launch our new relationship
with Heartland Soccer Association. The first group will begin things at 12:30 p.m. CT, and the last
group will wrap up around 6:30 p.

Royals coach accepts position with Kansas City Wizards. Northern Virginia Royals soccer team, not
KC Royals. John Pascarella was the head coach of the Royals. He has been signed as the new
goalkeeping/fitness coach for the Wizards.
