Today, MLS announced the coaching staff and roster for the upcoming Generation Adidas trip to the
Netherlands. Peter Vermes and the Sporting Kansas City coaching staff have been named the coaches
for the trip. Vermes will be joined by Zoran Savic, John Pascarella, and Juniors coach Jon Parry on
the tour.
Word out of Colombia earlier today stated that Sporting KC assistant, Octavio Zambrano, had
accepted the position to coach Colombian second division side, Deportivo Pereira. Throughout the
day there was word that nothing was quite official and that Zambrano was just on personal leave
from the team. But late today, the team officially announced the departure of Peter Vermes top
assistant.

Today, we publish a discussion with Sporting KC assistant coach John Pascarella. Pascarella is
responsible for much of the technical preparation and tactical work for the Livestronglies. He and
head coach Peter Vermes played club ball together and KC front office media man Josh Wisenhunt
comments Pascarella is revered by the team, especially goalkeeper Jimmy Neilsen (Pascarella has a
big hand in training the goalkeepers during practice.

Chivas USA has finally announced the acquisition of Juan Pablo Angel, and his arrival looks to
have come at a cheap price.
Having acquired Angel via a trade with the Los Angeles Galaxy, Chivas USA only gave up a third
round natural 2012 Supplemental Draft pick in exchange.
Today will mark the first time Captain Jack Jewsbury returns to Kansas City to play his former
team. As somebody who has played so well for the Timbers this season this has to be a bitter sweet
reunion for Sporting Kansas City fans. That said, everything has changed since Jewsbury was playing
for Kansas City.
Most Sporting KC fans thought, and felt that Wizards coach, Peter Vermes would get a fine and or
suspension for his comments after the game against Seattle where he said:
"We have been under this so many times this season — red cards or non-calls on penalty kicks —
at some point, it has to change.
