The Missouri Soccer Coaches Association has released the Class 3 Southwest Region Honors. The
Region includes Districts 11 and 12, won by Glendale and Parkview respectively. Glendale finished
3rd in the recently completed Class 3 State Tournament. District 11 includes Finalist Kickapoo,
Ozark, Nixa and Branson.

The Missouri Soccer Coaches Association poll of coaches has named their All-District Honors for
Class 3 District 12, consisting of District Champions Parkview, District finalist Joplin along with
Central, Carthage, Neosho and Willard.
Harrison Stadium
The Class 3 game between Glendale and Parkview will be played at Harrison Stadium, a 6pm start
time.
The Class 2 game between Logan-Rogersville and Harrisonville will be played at Logan-Rogersville
High School, a 5:30 pm start time (although I'm betting on a change due to field conditions!
The only remaining District game on the calendar, Camdenton hosts Waynesville today

The Central Bulldogs are hosting the District 12 playoffs at Harrison Stadium this afternoon, a
pair of first round games are on tap. In Camdenton and Columbia, play-in games that will send the
winner on to semifinal matches against the top seed next week.

The Parkview Vikings, moved this year from District 11 to District 12, have received the top seed
in the upcoming District playoffs. The host this year are the Central Bulldogs again, on the
artificial surface at Harrison Stadium.

The countdown continues, four days remain in the regular season. Of interest this evening, I'll
be watching for the result from Jefferson City between Helias and Rolla. Rolla is seeded #2 in
District 10 behind Camdenton who beat Helias 3-1 yesterday. The Willard vs Neosho game is a
District 12 match up, the only District we are waiting to hear from regarding seeding.
Final week of the regular season. All of the seeding for District play should be done although
it hasn't been posted to the MSHSAA website. Glendale can capture the Ozark Conference title with
wins at Waynesville tonight and against Kickapoo on Wednesday.

The Fair Grove Eagles have made the decision to add Soccer to the High School beginning this Fall.
The school, which held tryouts last week to confirm interest, will begin with a JV squad only in
2011 and will make a later determination regarding when to add a varsity program.

Head Coach, Evan Palmer earned his 300th win tonight as the Nixa Eagles won 6-0 over the
Parkview Vikings.
Coach Palmer, who played collegiately at Missouri State and is the only Coach the Eagles have
had, began his career with Nixa in 1995 when the Boys program got it's start.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Missouri State women's soccer head coach Rob Brewer announced today that he
has six commitments from players to join the program for the 2011 season.
"We have some very athletic players with unique skill sets joining our team this season," said
Brewer. "The diversity in their abilities and the balance of attackers and defenders make these
players fantastic additions to our program.
