A stoppage-time penalty awarded to Fluminese in their clash with Atletico Paranaense, which they
converted to earn a 1-1 draw, set off a chaotic end to the highly-charged Brazilian league
game.
After the referee blew the final whistle, a section of the Atletico crowd gathered around the
entrance to the dressing rooms, and had to be kept at bay by rifle-wielding police, who, according
to a number of reports, fired rubber bullets at the protesting fans.

Clube Atlético Paranaense has launched two new retro jerseys celebrating the club's history. The
new shirts pay homage to the March 1924 merger of Internacional-PR and América-PR to form what is
now Atlético Paranaense.

form a strategic alliance. Whatever that is.

Someone wake me up when these fancy alliances actually produce something worth writing about.
Here is a YouTube video of Thai Port's new Brazilian player Valci Teixeira Junior scoring a few
decent goals in the Campeonato Paranaense de Futebol - Terceira Divisão for Clube Andraus Brasil
Ltda. His languid playing style reminds me a lot of Manchester City striker Jo. Let's hope that
Valci scores more goals and is less temperamental than his much-maligned compatriot!
