Former Duke All-American forward Mike Grella has joined Brentford of League One (third division).
In 42 league and cup matches matches for Leeds, Grella scored five goals – three of them in the FA Cup – and played another 18 matches (four goals) on loan to Carlisle United and Swindon Town.

As a recently graduated high school senior, attacking center midfielder Morgan Brian already has career stats that any soccer pro would envy. This past spring season she led her high school, Fredericka Academy in St. Simons, Georgia, to a 17-2-1 record and a fourth straight Georgia Independent School Association Class AA state title.

Q: What was Mike Fucito like growing up?
DAVIES: He was feisty. He was one of my best friends growing up. We played club soccer together and I recruited him to my high school, which was pretty cool. Unfortunately, he went to Harvard - his family wouldn't let him pass up that opportunity, so we didn't get a chance to play in college.

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. The Bethel Royals have hired Jeremy Iwaszkowiec as the new head coach of the Bethel men's and women's soccer programs.
