From FIFA:
"Serbia secured qualification in style, with Nikola Zigic, Marko Pantelic, Zdravko Kuzmanovic
and Milan Javanovic (2) on target in a 5-0 win over Romania in Group 7."
Ouch.
We were bettered in the group, but we also won 5-0.
Goals from:
Gignac
Gignac
Gallas
Anelka
Benzema
5-0, and it was almost convincing.

It's one of the worst situations in football business, when you have no more opportunities to
resort to excuses, especially when you're mainly responsible for the prosperity of your team.
Hertha BSC-manager Lucien Favre lived through this said situation at the press conference after
Hertha's 1:5 loss against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and the six straight loss in a row.

On the closing of the transfer window Marko Pantelic found a place in Amsterdam, where he will
wear Ajax jersey in the next year. After it seemed that Serbian international will be forced to
spend the next term in his former club Crvena Zvezda, Ajax management knocked on his door and they
obviously made the right move by signing this excellent striker.

The season has barely started and Blue-white fans already regret that Marko Pantelic left Berlin
and want him back! Actually, the Berlin side struggled to reach the minimum win over Hannover and
they did it thanks to Gojko Kacar. The fans booed striker Arthur Wischniarek off the pitch and then

The only Bundesliga team from the capital of Germany got a new hero this season and a true
leader, Serbian international, Gojko Kacar. Hertha struggled to beat Hannover in Bundesliga opening
round at home and Gojko Kacar was the one to decide the game. After Marko
Pantelic, also a Serbian international, left the club, Kacar continued to shake the opposite nets
instead of him.

Congratulations Wolfsburg, Champions of the Bundesliga!
Wolfsburg's magical triangle all scored as the Wolves beat a deflated Werder Bremen 5-1 at home.
Their home form was paramount in their unlikely title run as they took an incredible 49 points out
of 51 during the campaign. It was incredibly important, as they didn't start winning on the road
until the second half of the season.

Uli Hoeness predicted that this championship won't be decided on goal difference, but rather
that someone would slip up, and he was right albeit in the wrong places.
Hannover 0-5 Wolfsburg. Except for the sell out crowd there was nothing really
derby-ish about this game (and then, the last match at home usually tends to be a sell out
anyway).

Historians have argued for centuries the exact date Miroslav Klose last scored a goal. It's been
that long. The big man himself was starting to feel the pressure during the game against Berlin
last Sunday. After missing another chance, he lost his cool and took a swing at the goal post.
Fortunately for Klose he missed.

Bayern Munich coach Juergen Klinsmann can invest in a few new Buddha statues for the team's locker
room after hammering Hertha Berlin 4-1 for the Bavarians' first win of the season. After two
lackluster draws, the victory puts Bayern within two points of league leaders Schalke 04.
Luca Toni scored for the first time this season early in the match, and defender Philipp Lahm
curled home a pretty shot for Bayern's second goal.

O Lala.
