*Francisco "Panchito' Mendoza, tied for the most all-time appearances with Chivas USA, is out
after Coach Robin Fraser decided to part ways with an "unhappy" player.
It was the Mexican midfielder's second go around with the club; he had rejoined them in the
offseason, but was used sparingly and primarily as a substitute.

CARSON, Calif – It was an uneventful first half at the Home Depot Center in the clash between
Chivas USA and the San Jose Earthquakes. The passing was not up to par, and the final touches could
have been better.
But in the second half, that all changed.
It was a case of "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue" for Chivas
USA as the club opened preseason training today in Carson under the new coaching staff of Robin
Fraser and Greg Vanney.
The old was Francisco "Panchito" Mendoza, a Chivas USA original who played more minutes for the
club than any other player before heading back to the mothership in 2009.

Robin Fraser is putting his stamp on Chivas USA.
The Los Angeles based club began their preseason preparations today and change was in the air
for the club on their first day of practice. Fraser announced that the Cuban forward Maykel
Galindo, Costa Rican defender Dario Delgado and Mexican winger Rodolfo Espinoza were not continuing
with the club.
