Trinidad and Tobago plays Barbados today at 4 pm and Keon Daniel may make his first start for
the country as a member of the Philadelphia Union.
Daniel and Trinidad pulled out a close 1-0 win over Bermuda on a Kenwyne Jones goal in the 44th
minute. Tobago was expected to pull well away from Barbados, but those expectations were not
met.
2014 Word Cup qualifying started off well for Tinidad and Tobago, with a 1-0 win over Bermuda
beginning the process.
Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel started Trinidad's victory off on the bench, but was
substituted into the game in the 36th minute of the game. Daniel replaced Khaleem Hyland well
before the start of half time for reasons beyond a tactical change.

The Philadelphia Union came out on top of a 5-3 exhibition game against central Pennsylvania
affiliate club Harrisburg City Islanders Wednesday night.
After going 2-0 down inside the first twenty minutes, the Union rebounded to score five
straight, with Harrisburg adding a late consolation goal in the 85th.
Trinidad and Tobago national team head coach Otto Pfister has called up Keon Daniel to be a part
of the country's 2014 World Cup qualifying team. The midfielder is one of 11 international players
that Pfister called up for this round of qualifiers.
Daniel will arrive in the Trinidadian training camp either on August 28 or August 29, as all
international players have been allotted an extra day to travel back home.

The USA U20 team were upset by hosts Guatemala 2-1 last night in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying and
will not be going to the big tournament.
-This isn't a disaster, but its pretty damning of the system. There are no excuses for this kind of
loss.
-And we are not saying that we called the USA loss, but on Monday we did have this to say about the
matchup: Of the four top seeds the USA has the toughest game as they take on the host team
Guatemala.
"It is not acceptable for Saudi Arabia. The coach has had enough time, more than a year and a
half, to do a perfect job." as said by Sultan bin Fahd, the President of the Saudi Arabian
Football Association.
It was one of the most stable and long times that the coach stayed at the "Green Falcons" as used
to be called.
