del Norte (eliminatorias 2014), Pablo Daniel Osvaldo se convierte en el 16° jugador argentino en

AS Roma played Siena in Serie A last night. This was rather inconvenient for us, as we run our
Midweek Results post on a Thursday but we've overcome our disappointment to bring you the highs and
lows of the game.

Last week, we travelled to the Basque Country, Andalucia, and Valencia to take a look at how La
Liga teams from those regions are looking ahead to the new season. In this part we will go through
the two big cities of the country and also some of the other regions of the lovely country of
España.
Things are "speeding" up on the transfer front as the 31st of August ( & Europa /Champions League
inscriptions) deadline nears for Spanish Football Clubs. One of those, ATLETICO DE MADRID, has an
ambitious plan: to sign two star forwards to replace Sergio Aguero & Diego Forlan. More on the last
latter on.
