and Joe and Ashley Cole were both involved today after their injury problems. It was thought that

I was watching Sky this morning and they announced the England squad and noticed that Ash wasn't
included. So I was wondering what was up and wondered if he had been called but withdrew (for a
breather for a pointless game at a pointless venue in my opinion coming up to the Christmas period)

Great news today that John Terry has signed a new five year contract that will keep him at the club
until the end of the 2013/14 season. For me and for any Chelsea fan this is fantastic news as it
shows that he is committed to Chelsea and Chelsea to JT.Of course who can forget all the rumour
about Man City and the fact that he never came out and said anything.

Carlo Ancelotti today has confirmed that he expects Andriy Shevchenko to leave the club before the
end of the transfer window on Monday. Sheva was told earlier in the week that he does not feature
in Carlo's Champions League squad and the fact that he has now been told that he will not be given

Its congratulations to John Terry as today he was named UEFA Club Defender of the Year for last
season. This is the third time he was won the award, firstly in 2005 and then again last season so
this is two-in-a-row for JT and for me its well deserved. He was up against Pique of Barcelona (who
is no competition and is overrated in my book) and Vidic of Man Utd.
