Major League Soccer Talk 21 October @ 10:10 PM EST

The most notable concerns about this squad are the omission of Charles Renken and Joseph Gyau recent Hoffenheim signings who had trouble at Bradenton. Sebastian Lleget, is also not on the squad. The omission of the West Ham Academy player is a huge blow for Wilmer Cabrera's side.

Another N.Y. Red Bulls Coach Quits, Again

The Footie 23 August @ 01:48 AM EST

It seems that whenever a team does poorly they just fire the coach. Well I guess they have to blame somebody. It's no surprise that the New York Red Bulls were the worst team in the MLS this season holding a 2-16-4 score.

Juan Carlos Osorio - N.Y. Red Bulls

I suppose that the blame could could have been pointed at anyone of the players but the scapegoat turned out to be the head coach, Juan Carlos Osorio.

Epitomizing The New York Red Bulls Season

Yanks Soccer 18 August @ 04:33 PM EST

Have you ever just read something satirical and been struck by how perfectly it fits or describes something. Â The person who organizes some local pickup matches sent me a Facebook message patronizing the joke that is the New York Red Bulls. Â I thought it was perfect, and know you'll enjoy it...

Summer's ending soon, the high schools have started fall practices, and a lot of us will go back to college, so I thought I'd organize a big end to the summer while everyone was still around.

MLS Interlude

Fantasy EPL 31 July @ 06:42 PM EST
It is a difficult time to be playing MLS fantasy as the NY Red Bulls don't play again for two weeks. So one can't just load up on whomever is facing them. Though to be honest, that didn't really work out so well for me last week. Cummings did get an assist, but Kimura came on as a sub so he didn't earn the clean sheet points. Rash Tackles and Inconsistent Referees Challenge MLS

SoccerLens 16 April @ 06:40 AM EST

The rash fouls and referee rants started early in MLS this year.

There were seven sending offs this past weekend in relatively unimportant MLS match-ups. In the contest between the hapless Galaxy and Chivas USA, the referee red-carded LA's US international star Gregg Berhalter in his MLS debut for hauling down a player with a clear goal-scoring opportunity, and ejected the Galaxy's Alan Gordon (dissent) and Chivas' Paulo Nagamura with two yellow cards apiece.
