Call it a case of losing pretty.

Despite outshooting their foes by wide margin, the Breakers ended up in the loss column yet again following Sunday's 1-0 defeat to the Portland Thorns at Jordan Field in Allston, Mass.

Christine Sinclair netted the game's only goal in the 72nd minute to send the Breakers to their 12th loss of the season.

It was another game, and another set back for the sinking Breakers, who dropped a 4-2 loss to the Orlando Pride on Saturday at Orlando City Soccer Stadium in Orlando.

Despite getting goals from Rosie White and Julie King in the 49th and 88th minutes, respectively, the Breakers were overwhelmed by the Pride's potent attack.

The winless ways of the Boston Breakers continued on Wednesday after they fell 3-1 to the Houston Dash at Jordan Field in Cambridge, Mass.

Even though Natasha Dowie's 26th minute strike put the match on level terms going to break after Sarah Hagen opened the scoring inside of 11 minutes, the Dash triumphed thanks to Janine Beck's 64th minute goal, which preceded another score from Hagen in the 79th minute.

Rosie White scored twice within a three-minute span, but the Breakers were unable to protect the lead late in Friday's 2-2 draw to FC Kansas City at Jordan Field in Cambridge, Mass.

After Maegan Kelly put the guests on the board in the 21st minute, White responded in rapid-fire fashion by netting the equalizer in the 27th minute and the go-ahead in the 30th minute.

Abby Smith collected a career-high 10 saves on the evening, but was unable to stop Nichelle Prince in the 23rd minute, where the Dash took hold of a lead it didn't let go.
