I think the jury is still out on Bayer Leverkusen as title contenders. So far this season Jupp Heynckes team have beaten Hoffenheim, Freiburg, Bochum, Wolfsburg, Koln and Nurnberg. The season in Bundesliga ended in Werder winning the domestic cup and Nurnberg's promotion to the elite. Last weekend Werder recorded a minimum win over Leverkusen in Berlin thus reaching their sixth trophy in the cup and most importantly managed to book a ticket for Europa League next season. Nurnberg's convincing 5:0 win over Cottbus reserved them a place in Bundesliga and their main aim next season will be to stay there.
