Highlights of the game. Sorry, they aren't very good I know but I thought I'd put them up just for
Ben Arfa's sublime goal, which must be the best I've seen all season, and also the return of
"Spidermag" too. I still haven't received any thanks from Alan Pardew for telling him he was a
[...]

Gerrard.

when the third [.
Highlights of the game. 11 minute highlights of the match. Swansea were defending very deep in the
first half of this game, with Newcastle United keeping the Swans pinned back in and around their
own box for quite a few spells. However as the second half rolled on, Swansea did make something of
a comeback.
Highlights of our disappointing 4-2 defeat at the hands of Delia Smith's Canaries at Carrow Road.
As usual, I will endeavour to update these when better, longer ones become available. Alan Pardew

for the silky skills of Shola [.
Highlights of Newcastle United's early kickoff against Chelsea, where we were desperately unlucky
not to see Chelsea's Luiz sent off in the first half. After Didier Drogba scored a headed goal, we
then had to leave ourselves open somewhat to chase their lead, eventually going down by three goals
after a deflected strike by Solomon [.
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester. Date: Saturday 26 November, 2011 Kick-off: 3.00pm. Referee: Mike
Jones (replaced Phil Dowd). After such a great result was over-shadowed by the deeply sad news of
the death of a true Geordie Legend, Gary Speed, I've found it very hard to commit to a match
report. It's with a heavy heart [.

Highlights of Newcastle United's 1-3 defeat to Manchester City, who, somewhat predictably going on
their recent form, finally ended our long unbeaten Premiership run. After City goals from Mario
Balotelli (pen), Micah Richards and Sergio Aguero (pen), the Magpies finally managed a consolation
goal from Dan Gosling.

Right, let's have some ratings for the Blackburn win! It was pretty much good stuff all round with
a decent showing from a team that's starting to gel. Very few black marks, the odd smudge, but
nothing we couldn't surmount. Here goes! Tim Krul 7.5: Tim is fast becoming yet another top Toon
'keeper and [.

League Cup. Features two goals from Peter Lovenkrands. The first featuring an astounding pass from
comeback kid, Hatem Ben Arfa, and a pretty tidy assist from his French compadre Sylvain Marveaux

Venue: Loftus Road, London. Date: Monday, Sept 12th, 2011. Kick-off: 8:00pm. Referee: Phil Dowd. I
don't think it would be unfair to say that Newcastle United were very, very lucky to pick up a

on top in [.

is well happy with Newcastle United's start to the season. Martin Jol bemoans Fulham's inability to
capitalise on their chances. NUFC Blog match report.
After the kick off of this disappointingly attended home game (42,684), a fairly congested midfield
quagmire seemed to be the order of the day in the opening section thanks to Newcastle, who once
again got off to a very disappointing start. Looking on the positive side though, Best almost
fashioned a chance for himself in [.
Messrs Ryan Taylor and Ameobi Junior spared United's blushes at Glanford Park, as Newcastle battled
back from a goal down at half-time to put their name in the hat this Saturday for the League Cup
3rd round draw. As I found my way to the turnstiles, and to get me in the mood for the [...]

Match highlights. On a rare sunny day in the dark underbelly of the North East, Newcastle had to
negotiate an early derby game full of expectation amongst the deluded locals. Such is the optimism
after shelling out a fat wedge on a new bunch of fair to middling or overaged players. As was to be
[...]
Match highlights. We Geordies could easliy been crying into our beer, rueing one or two important
decisions, such as Larson's handball which denied us a goal earlier in the game. However just at
the right time, the sometimes derided Ryan Taylor unveiled the best weapon in his armoury, with a
fantastic set piece straight into [.
Extended match highlights. In what seems to be somwthing of a tradition now, Newcastle United faced
their usual stiff test against one of the 'top four' clubs in their first game of the Premiership
season. Those who might have been expecting a repeat of the last fixture against the Gunners were
to be disappointed.
In a match that seemed more suited to swimming trunks and armbands rather than a football kit,
Newcastle and Fiorentina braved the atrocious weather in order to win the final friendly of
pre-season. Plumes of water shot up from every foot fall, a wake of rain tracked the ball through
it's journey around the hallowed [.
Leeds United 3 (Patrick Kisnorbo 5, Lloyd Sam 66, Billy Paynter 85) Newcastle United 2 (Steven
Taylor 35, Haris Vuckic 77) Apologies if this report is very belated this time, however recent

Match highlights, with goals from Shola Ameobi (9mins), Fabricio Coloccini (53 mins) and great goal
from substitute, Haris Vuckic in stoppage time. The sending off of the Columbus Crew goalkeeper
didn't help the cause of the home side. As usual, Cheick Tiote also picked up a yellow card for a
wreckless challenge.
Although this was the last game of the season, with both Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion
safe for the season, one would have thought that the 'Baggies' would have had something to play
for, not least finishing above local rivals, Aston Villa, in the Premiership's final reckoning.
There was also the chance for West [.
