El Diablo wins debut with Bolivian team

United legend Marco Antonio Etcheverry debuted as the Head Coach for Bolivian side Oriente Petrolero on Sunday, November 1. Coaching his hometown team, El Diablo earned a 1-0 win in his first game of the Playoffs against rival Blooming. Oriente knocked out Blooming with a 2-1 aggregate score in the home and away series.

Missouri State Bears Schedule Update

Early season fixture changes

The first time the Blues are on the box is against Portsmouth away on Sunday August 30, kick off 1.30pm, while the derby against United will also be shown on Sunday September 20, kick off 1.

Today, the bad. And there was a lot of bad this year, which is why this season was so disappointing. The fact that most of the guys who were our best players last season (Cesc, Adebayor, Clichy, Sagna) are on this list really sums up why we were not as good as we had hoped this season. The guys that we were counting on to win trophies for us were not up to the task.

It's Liverpool's best Premiership campaign, and the best points total under Benitez and since the title-winning ‘87-88 season (the league was 40 games that year). But Liverpool could and probably should have won the championship, throwing the league away with mid-season draws.
I'm thrilled there was actually a title race until the second-to-last round of fixtures, but I'm massively disappointed that Liverpool was top of the league to start 2009, and still finished four points behind the bloody Mancs. Click to continue reading...
